There is no way NDSU drops to four. Seed order will be Cats, NDSU, SDSU, USD, Davis, Idaho, Mercer,UIW. Maybe Davis climbs to four and USD five. Idaho has to win going away to guarantee six seed.

My thoughts exactly on 1-5, but I do think Davis gets it. 1 ranked win and 8 DI wins shouldn't get you the 4 seed.

I cannot believe that USD would drop to 5 after today.

It probably won't happen, but their resume isn't a 4 seed resume. The only reason they are top 5 right now is because they started there. 1 ranked win. Yes it was against #1 but their resume is meh otherwise.

Or maybe even if they squeak out a win. Other than their comeback against MSU that may have been quite heavily ref-assisted they haven't looked to be on the same level as MSU and the Dakota teams the last two weeks.

Sac’s issue was never talent. I don’t think they are coached very well so it shouldn’t shock anyone that they compete with a rival.

NDSU, SDSU and UCD all have multiple ranked wins this year, plus UC Davis has 10 DI wins, including 2 top 10 wins. Quite honestly they should be the #3 seed followed by SDSU and USD. I don't think that will happen, but they've absolutely earned it. Their SOS is 15, just 5 or 6 spots below USD who has 1 ranked win and only 8 DI wins. If USD is 3 or 4, the committee will show every one its not about where you finish, but where you start.

They played SDSU into overtime and beat NDSU. That’s a hell of a resume. I know, I know, SDSU was a loss, but if you take a top 3 team into OT, you’re a damn good team.

In theory I'd love to see the committee reward the teams that played all Division 1 schedules (NDSU and UCD) over those that didn't (SDSU and USD), but ultimately I can't see them putting Davis ahead of SDSU given how both teams have played heading into the playoffs. I'll be pretty surprised if the top three aren't as you predicted here, and think that USD will get the nod for #4 over Davis. There is a good argument for Davis though if you look more at the overall resume instead of the "eye test" and how both teams looked today.

I would not be shocked if USD stays at 4. Their resume was underwhelming until an hour ago.

Usd was not going to be seeded if they had lost to ndsu. That was their 8th D1 win. I think it's going to be MSU, and then the DSUs in some order (i think sdsu 2 but I think it's a 50 50 proposition). I think then it's usd but Davis has a strong case there also. I'm going to guess:

I think it might be an easier road to not have to play a DSU in the semis. But if don’t think USD is equally as good you didn’t watch their games against the DSUs. I would also love to play both DSUs and take home the Natty. Revenge Tour complete.
