It is a stage and in 2021 both college’s band were located there alongside each other.damnyoutuesday wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 10:16 pmDoes anybody know why the one endzone has no seats? It's almost like a stage but it's not quite a stage. Looks like they're gonna put the FC Dallas supporter's section there during the renovationsBelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 10:09 pmMike Barker, @cfbcampustour was at our game against Idaho on Saturday. He is at the Frisco Bowl tonight. Pick out your seat!

Re: National Championship Tickets
For those worried about tickets, have patience. For the last chipper, I bought 2 great tickets on the 35 (on the Bizun side) while waiting for our delayed flight out of Cody. IIRC, it was under $100/each, including fees. Both SDSU and NDSU have confident fanbases that would have snapped up tickets when they originally went on sale. Most will put their tickets up for sale if their team isn't playing. The closer you get to gameday, the more prices come down. I believe there were even tickets being sold at the tailgate (things are a bit foggy from that day). It's nerve-racking paying for hotel and airfare with no tickets, but you'll find tickets.

Re: National Championship Tickets
My fear is that if we make it, there is going to be a lot more demand from our fans than normal. Everybody I talk to is trying to find a way to go to Frisco. Way, way, more than in 2021. I bought tickets quite a while ago, probably for too much, but I’m not going to risk not getting game tickets for a big group.MSUBobcat04 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 1:13 pmFor those worried about tickets, have patience. Re: National Championship Tickets
Big group wanting to sit together will definitely be more challenging. Like a couple others on this forum, I'm on a forum called Any Given Saturday (run by a fan of that crappy team a little farther west, but still a good site). All the Bison fans said absolutely do not buy tickets right after the semi's and the advice worked wonderfully. Everyone has to weigh their personal taste for risk/reward of course, and it's more challenging the bigger the group, but especially for those looking for 2-4 together, significant savings can be had. Ticket holders of the losing teams Saturday will be looking to unload, first for exorbitant prices and falling with each passing day.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 1:24 pmMy fear is that if we make it, there is going to be a lot more demand from our fans than normal. Good luck to all going! My friend poorly planned her wedding in Mexico, so this year isn't an option for me. I kinda want to end the friendship....

Re: National Championship Tickets
I went in 2021. There isn’t a bad seat. And honestly, SRO may be the best seats in the house. Toyota Stadium is a tremendous venue for watching a game.

Oh I bought tickets weeks ago. Still expensive, but oh well. Worth it.MSUBobcat04 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 6:44 pmBig group wanting to sit together will definitely be more challenging. Re: National Championship Tickets
I took a look today, almost bought a ticket for $180 (Vivid Seats so likely would have ended up being $240 ish), but decided against it. Bought my flights after the UCD game so assuming the Cats take care of business Saturday, I'm 100% there. So for the ticket I'm going to trust what 100% of the people that have been there have told me, in that the ticket prices drop several days before the game so buyers can get them for a fraction of what they cost today. Or, if not I get burned and have to overpay. One thing's fur sure, I WILL be in the stadium one way of the other. lolBelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 7:34 pmOh I bought tickets weeks ago. I'm not even going to think about such a thing. I'm with the 1-0 mentality. Got a lot to take care of Saturday before we worry about this.

Re: National Championship Tickets
I see some decent tickets are going for ~ $300 online right now.
After this weekend when we win
, one of the _DSU's will likely be selling nearly all of their tickets. What's the best option......
After this weekend when we win
- Keep an eye on 'online sellers (Vivid, Stub Hub, AXS...) and buy when they drop a bit?
- Get on the losing _DSU's fan forum website and inquire about tickets?
- Buck up and get some the day before or day of the game?
- Something else...???

Re: National Championship Tickets
I’d jump on a $300 ticket. After all the fees I didn’t pay much less than that. The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 3:00 pmI see some decent tickets are going for ~ $300 online right now.

Re: National Championship Tickets
I’ve tried to preach patience but for those that don’t want to do so at this point I have to say at least wait to Saturday and know we are in. If you are gonna overpay anyway why not be sure we are going first so you don’t have to try and resell tickets and likely end up losing money on the deal?

Just got an email from athletics saying “ Should the Bobcats win tomorrow, your request for tickets to the Championship game in Frisco, Texas WILL be fulfilled!”
Priority number is 510.

Re: National Championship Tickets
Same notice but my priority number is in the 2400’s and I will NOT get tickets. Perhaps we can narrow down the cut line.
For what it’s worth, bought my tickets in September hoping the Cats make it and knowing I wasn’t high on the food chain. Right on the 50 on home field side! Go Cats!!!

My priority number is 1574, and I got the email saying they COULD NOT fulfill my request. I'll figure out how to get in to that damn stadium one way or another....
