Looks like the same wednesday ticket dump just happened again this week as more tickets just got added. Not as many as last week, maybe ~100 more tickets randomly throughout the stadium. Is there a deadline for season tickets to renew that happens on wednesdays?

Nothing that late for regular season ticket holders. My only guess would be maybe corporate tickets?

Has anyone got an idea of how many of these tickets are being bought by Vandal fans ?

I'll make the drive from Billings, as will @Dbrewmsu . My brother's coming from Two Dot. Know a ton more from the Galt tailgate coming from Billings and Wheatland County.

Not sure about aucats take on this, and I'm seeing something very different. I just checked and another sideline section just sold out. Only a handful of sideline seats remain and they will be gone soon. Hard to fault students who probably traveled back home at some point this week, but we're getting those sold too. I expect SRO to open up before the end of the week.
Well, that sounds very promising. I recall that the first game with Idaho was a late night game and the atmosphere was pretty rowdy.
I also recall that was a hard sellout and a rather expensive ticket. I don't like playing teams a second time in football. It's very dangerous. A very loud raucous crowd will be important.
One thing about night playoff games, the crowd may not be at full capacity but the loudest fans show up and more than make up for that.
Yep. Same song and dance we have every time we have a night game. The difference is this one will be a near sellout and it's the lone football game in the entire country and it's on ESPN. Even if there were fewer fans the place will be absolutely rocking.

I'm curious every time this discussion comes up with the out of town fans. I wonder what percentage of our attendance comes from people travelling across the state? I'm sure the ticket office has a good idea based on their records of season tickets. But as much as I appreciate the fans coming from afar, I can't imagine it's a giant percentage of our attendance. So while it sucks for those that can't make the Friday night games because of travel, it seems as though those tickets are still getting used. Which ultimately is a good thing in my opinion. People who don't have season tickets and have a hard time getting tickets all season now have a shot at going to a great game in an electric environment. Hopefully it's enough to hook them!
Your post got me thinking about the people that I sit near at Bobcat stadium. We drive 350mi and will be there, the 2 people in front of me drive 190mi and they said they'll be there. 2 people to my right drive 80mi and they said they'll be there but the 2 to my left who drive 150mi can't be there. 2 people behind me drive 300mi and can't be there.
Looking at it another way; of the 24 people around me I know that 4 people that drive distance won't be there and 4 people who are in Gallatin county won't be there. There maybe are others out of that 24 that won't make it that I'm unaware of. It will be interesting to see how many of those seats get filled but as it stands right now 1/6 of my area will be vacant. I expect some and hope all of those seats are filled.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if the actual attendance is over 16,007
I'm doing my part..Driving 275 miles. Easier with work for me because I'm self employed. My wife and I are season ticket holders but bought 3 extra tickets and bringing 2 of those 3 ticket holders with me. The other one has a daughter at MSU with a student ticket and his wife found a ticket. Their coming from Kalispell. I believe a majority of the season ticket holders are from 100 miles or more away.

I'm expecting a full stadium tomorrow, I think fans can sense that this is a special year and the tickets will be bought even if it isn't all the normal people in those seats. I know four people who are going on Friday who aren't season ticket holders and can't go to most of the games due to lack of availability.

Yep, Tailgate will be decent. 14 tickets used even though most of us hate Friday games. 3-Malta, 6-Billings, 1-Stanford, 2-3-Two Dot and 1-Wendell Idaho.

Our usual 6 are going. And we're bringing 3 more who don't normally go.

At this point, 20% nervous/30% confident/50% ready to be tailgating so that the first 50% all goes away and I’m 100% ready to go watch us kick some butt.

So strange... I know when I last checked yesterday the only place you could get seats together was in 119. Now there are multiple places throughout the stadium you can get 2 or more tickets together. 98ish seats remaining, subject to change.

Not strange, normal. As block options expire, the untaken seats are returned to the public pool. Don't overthink it.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

I've done a fair bit with stock options and commodity options but don't know a thing about what a block option is as it pertains to Bobcat stadium.
Can someone teach me?

Damn! will anyone be left in Two Dot to watch at the bar? That's about everyone going to the game!
