South Dakota has been getting completely gutted by the portal…. Good reminder that’s it’s not just MSU getting hit hard.

It’ll be interesting to see how much it affects them. I’m sensing that they have an adopted the NDSU system ala SDSU and MSU. May not be fully established yet though.

NDSU's system is to have more $ than most of the teams that try to steal their guys. They are actually keeping guys for 4-5 years most of the time. I know they lose a couple but it's nothing compared to the contenders.

In Great Falls, the card shop had this card and a duo autograph cam miller / Tommy Mellot. It was sweet. About 90 dollar card.

Yes and yes. Cats beat the gris in the team standings and that counts as the brawl point. Sac won the team event. I believe Cats were second but I haven’t seen the final.

I think another thing NDSU has is a track record of multiple guys getting drafted every year. That probably allows them to keep guys despite having bigger NIL deals elsewhere, the promise of making millions after graduation.

If we can get two guys drafted this year, I think we're well on our way to having that argument as well.

And NDSU has another likely first round pick this year in Grey Zabel. I'm sure their draft history helps them keep their offensive linemen given how many of them are NFL starters right now.

This is an area where MSU is behind NDSU. The fans and media are totally behind the OL players. They’re deified at ndsu. As much as they say they’re lunch bucket, blue collar guys, they want recognition. It’s gotten better but still a ways to go in that area.

I don’t think any unit has been by the portal at MSU as hard as the OL.
