My only complaints about the venue. Seating rows were tiny, smaller than the East grandstands. Tough to get around. The massive amount of humanity trying to get to their seats. Crazy how blocked up those entryways got. Women's bathrooms backed up and overflowed. Men's seemed okay.

I totally agree. Stadium felt cramped.

We sat in what's typically the student section I guess, and the seat numbers didn't match up with the tickets. The usher told the lady in front of us to just start counting at the wall toward the center to find your seats. Well that's just dumb! And didn't work very well at all. So people just kind of sat wherever in their row but not the actual seat number. Hopefully they fix that before next year, as it was very confusing.

“Fumbling Forward in College Football
General Rules on Fumbles
In college football, a fumble occurs when a player loses possession of the ball before being downed. If the ball is fumbled forward and then recovered by the same team, they can advance it. However, specific rules apply depending on the down.
Recovery and Advancement Rules
1st to 3rd Down: Any player on the offensive team can recover a fumble and advance it for a touchdown.
4th Down: Only the player who fumbled the ball can recover and advance it for a touchdown. If another player recovers the fumble, the play is dead, and the ball is returned to the spot of the fumble.”

Lamson had a similar play against Yale. Fumbled at the goal line and Chris Long fell on it in the endzone for a touchdown.

On a selfish note. I’m pumped the Cats were wearing my favorite uniforms. Because in 20 years when MSU does throwback unis to 2025, they’re going to look fantastic.
