Linebackers at 22 1/2 minutes

And they said he was from Montana, not Montana state! Burn the podcast down and compared him to Dante! Troy is way above Dante and will play on Sunday.
Yes, sports writing and sports commentating are definitely taking quite a hit in recent years in terms of quality. I don’t know if you were in Texas for the final game or not? Even the announcers there called us Montana. Commentators from respected sources have called us Montana. In terms of comparing him to Dante Olson think they clarified quite a difference. Nonetheless any little tidbit I pick up by trying to post here regardless of the quality.

Neither of those posts got his name spelled correctly.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Yea if you really want to search Twitter for information on Troy you need to search both "Troy Andersen" and "Troy Anderson", there is almost more information to be found with Anderson.

Maybe when he's a star in the NFL people will start spelling his name right.

NFL Radio on SiriusXM had a good segment on Troy today. Upside is huge, learning curve at NFL LB pass coverage will be the biggest concern.

“Superior athlete”
“Everything athletically tells me ‘draft him!’”
“Could be the next Urlacher”

Do you remember what segment of who was talking about him?

Great to hear.

It was during the “Moving the Chains” show from yesterday. 1hr 10min in. I think the segment is called “prospect talk” or something like that. Starts with a caller from MT who asks the hosts their thoughts on TA.

This is probably the most thorough evaluation of Troy yet.

Did you see the writers connection to the Bobcats?

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Definitely a thorough look, but I don't agree with the fourth round prediction. The combine will do nothing but drive up his stock. I have no doubt he will kill it physically. Where he will really excel is his in the interviews. I would bet a $hitload of money he is one of the smartest dudes at the combine. Smart, grounded, and hardworking from a great family. This stuff matters. Teams will know they can count on him to be a consummate professional. Add in the upside (I have seen many comparisons to Brian Urlacher...and I truly believe that is his upside) and I can't see anything but 2nd or 3rd round.

NFL owners love guys like Troy. If he has no significant flaws he’ll probably go in day 2.
