I highly doubt that Kellen Moore has much say in personnel decisions or which players to be patient with, but I do think he'll be a great coach for Tommy to work with and also one who will be creative enough to find Tommy a role to play if he can prove he deserves a shot. Taysom Hill is currently out recovering from a knee injury.

Fair, I should have said that as head coach he will have input but not the final say on personnel decisions. Moore can love a player but if their GM thinks he isn't going to help the team in the long run then that player is likely not going to be kept on the roster.

You weren’t aware of it because it’s not true. Players don’t pay “astronomical” fees to their teams, they basically don’t pay anything to the organization, but they do pay taxes and also agent fees. Also, some states have “athlete taxes” where professional athletes pay a higher tax rate as a member of a visiting team for any games in those states.
