The question is, did they find any buried wiring in the location you were planning on getting after it? I'm sorry I asked that, but not deleting it.
I was actually patting myself on the back for my witty repartee. Yours was much much better. I even had trouble reading yours to my wife without laughing.
The little building is some kind of utility building, isn't it? If it's the one I'm thinking of, it seems out of the way. Just wondering if it's going to be moved.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 4:04 pmSime has the irrigation pond done and most of the crap that was back there is gone. The little building is still there. But that's about it. There's access off of 11th. so they can start working on the IDPF without messing with the work Knife River is doing on the parking lots.
Last time I saw it, it was in the NE parking lot "old student side" and they were giving Covid shots out of it.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 4:21 pmThe little building is some kind of utility building, isn't it? Oh, I'm thinking of a different little building then. This one is in the NE corner of the lot and looks like a permanent structure. I think it houses some kind of utility.PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 4:29 pmLast time I saw it, it was in the NE parking lot "old student side" and they were giving Covid shots out of it.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 4:21 pmThe little building is some kind of utility building, isn't it? It’s the “Existing Communication Building Do Not Disturb” structure.
Still waiting on that last 50 bucks.
Those pics are an incentive for donors and muckety-mucks to make large donations
Exactly. I'm kind of shocked they quietly started working. There should have been a big (social) media push to celebrate completion of funding. We're raising the bar in the conference again. Pictures, posts, articles are an incentive for the little guys as well.BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 10:24 amThose pics are an incentive for donors and muckety-mucks to make large donations
You'll continue to slip and fall down the east side stands and you'll like it!MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 11:29 amSo now that the IPF appears to be underway, what are we thinking will be the next big facilities improvement project? I guess replacing the east side bleachers would be next according to the old Facilities Plan. I'd also love to see some updates to the Fieldhouse at some point to maybe make it more of an intimate atmosphere with more fans able to sit closer to the court.
Would love to see that gaping hole in the northwest corner of the stadium filled in with seating matching the corners of the south end zone. Shouldn’t be as big a project as the BAC and indoor facility but would make a HUGE difference in the overall appearance of the stadium. Honestly, the renderings of the east stands didn’t look much different than what’s there now. I see that changing to something better in the future.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 12:02 pmYou'll continue to slip and fall down the east side stands and you'll like it!MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 11:29 amSo now that the IPF appears to be underway, what are we thinking will be the next big facilities improvement project? As much of a struggle as it was to get the last 1% of funding for the IPF it might be a while before they try and tackle anything of substance.
Getting the last 1% from the small donors is always going to seem like a struggle. The real questions are when will the big donors be willing to write another check, and if they can find new big donors ready to begin supporting Athletics and future facility improvements. I'll continue to do my part and buy those Powerball tickets whenever the jackpot gets big.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 12:02 pmYou'll continue to slip and fall down the east side stands and you'll like it!MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 11:29 amSo now that the IPF appears to be underway, what are we thinking will be the next big facilities improvement project?
