Yeah, but they keep it interesting
We have a long history of close games; wonder what the foul differential finally was? All that ticky tacky stuff early when the zebras should have been letting them play could have let us see what either team would be able to do against the rest of the country. If PSU plays like that if they win the tournament, they'll not be able to handle what every game is like in March.

Wow....What an entertaining game! I'm not sure what it sounded like on the radio, but these two teams really put on a show tonight, and EVERYONE SHOULD BE PROUD OF HOW THE CATS PLAYED TONIGHT!!!! PSU's guards are HUGE, it looked like our guards were giving up about 4 inches and 60 pounds to their guys, I really think that we just wore down towards the end, our guards looked REALLY tired (hence the poor shooting in OT). PSU looks like they absolutely live in the weight room.
I really don't think that we need to get all doom and gloom after this loss. This game really could have gone either way, and I really think that these are the two best teams in the league that I've seen play so far.
I really wish that I could see the games in the tourney, if we end up 2nd, UM 3rd and Sac 4th and all for teams go to Portland, that will be quite a show. UM and MSU match up really well, and PSU and SAC will be a battle of two very physical athletic teams.
Officiating.....There was one guy out there who didn't look like he had ever reffed a game before. The other two guys did a fine job, but this one guy has been a terrible official all year, and it seems like we are always lucky enough to have him.
Crowd: The Brick was Rocking!

It was a great game-you really can't find any fault with the effort. In the end-PSU is just better.
You can't shoot 3-21 from three point land in your own building and hope to win. In some ways it was a miracle it was close.
We wasted brilliant performances from Al Beye and Nick Dissly. PSU focused on Marvin and Al stepped up big time.
If we're a guard oriented team there's no way we should handle a full court press so poorly-especially in the first half.
Miller and Jefferson were just horrendous from outside-I would have liked to have seen us take it to the hole in overtime instead of hoisting airball threes. We panicked a little bit when Schroeder hit those two to start the OT.
The atmosphere was unbelievable-that crowd really gave the team a boost-something we won't have in Portland.

I think that when we had the ball for the first possession in overtime and Moss stood out there in 3 point land and thought about shooting, hesitated, and then missed...we sort of committed ourselves to shooting threes. Portland State's inside guys were really tired and Shroeder hadn't played that many minutes and was fresh. we had just made a valiant comeback in regulation and didn't get out on him...(of course he was 5 feet in back of the line) and he just hit two great shots. Aftrer that you could see we were going to win or lose at the three point line. If Moss would have hit that shot...or we would have gone inside and scored a two I believe it may have been different....but we were tired also. Great game. They are a good team...relative to the rest of the BSC!
