He showed tremendous heart tonight to try to go out there and play even if it was only for the first half. Hats off to him for his effort.

Can never question the heart. Tough, dedicated SOB.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I hope they both chose to come back, I have a feeling the Dowler brothers might be getting some huge paydays thrown their way.

I wouldn't blame Taco though if he wanted to up his competition and exposure. He's earned it.

If there was ANYONE I'd be confident in staying Bobcats, it would have to be the Dowler twins. Taco has a chance to shatter the all time receiving and return record books. And Caden could cement his legacy as one of the all time great ball-hawking Bobcat safeties with a few more interceptions in 2026. Let's just say I'm as confident in them staying as I was about Troy or Tommy staying. They're Montana boys and bleed Bobcat blue and gold.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Let's be honest - we're not playing for a National championship if it wasn't for the unreal effort of Caden during a 5-6 game stretch. My heart breaks for the dude because he didn't get to play much tonight, but I hope he realizes how much Bobcat Nation appreciates his play this season.

Absolutely he was an integral part of the success of the 2025 Bobcat Football team. He gave it a go tonight even though that shoulder was in bad shape. That's all you can ask for out of your leader. Defense was GASSED, they were out there 2/3's of the game!!!

I watched the game again and he did not look like he was in much pain and seemed to be moving both arms on the sidelines afterwards but he might have been given a lidocaine injection right away so hard to say..if it was a bad shoulder injury seems like he would have had it wrapped to his body.
It’s definitely a wrist injury, you can see the moment it happens he grabs at his wrist (1st play of the second drive, tackle on Gillman). And he also most likely wouldn’t take the sling off at all if it was a shoulder injury.
are you saying @60's Cat is wrong? his post says he talked to Caden's grandmother and she told him it was his shoulder? either way I hope it is nothing too bad..
I’m saying I watched the replay a handful of times and it looked pretty obvious what he was grabbing.Maybe it was deceiving, or maybe I’m just wrong, but I’ll be surprised if it’s revealed to be something other than a wrist injury.

Well… It was deceiving and I was just wrong. I shouldn’t have used the word “definitely” in my first response.

This is why I don’t usually speculate about injuries. I’m no doctor and I didn’t even stay at a holiday inn last night.

Glad Caden was good enough to at least give it a shot last night, bummed he couldn’t be on the field for the whole game though. That dude took a huge step this year. Here’s to hoping he can have a fully healthy senior year next year.

He came out at half time without pads and did not warm up. Shoulder immobilized not wrist.

Another Grandmother post… I let her cut to the front of the line at the beer garden at half time, as any fan would do.. She said that he was already scheduled for surgery this coming Wednesday, as in tomorrow. @60's Cat was right..
