Here's the Big Sky's announcement:

This is a new high for the Bobcat program. Miya deserves a lot of credit. Dave Gantt built this great program, but Miya has taken it a step higher this year. The next step will be to bring a conference tournament to Shroyer.

I imagine next year's starting team is already on the squad. I know two top setters were recruited last season to replace Kamber and I'm not sure who will fill LeAnn's role. We're loaded with blockers, but I imagine we need to bring in Zanto's future replacement. Kelly leaves the Libero position in great hands, but we may need a back-up.

By the way, I forgot to mention the beautiful rendition of Oh Canada! at the Eastern game by the lovely Angela Wiebe and another player whose face I didn't catch. Thanks to all of the great Canadian ladies who helped the Bobcats succeed this year. Good luck in Cheney!!

It always amazes me how when one D-1 program in the state takes off and become dominent the other tends to fall appart. The Griz VB team is in shambles and I do not think Reed has it in him to do anything about it!

The friz played pretty well late in the season. I don't follow them enough to know what kind of talent they have coming back, but it's possible they're on the right track. Personally, I hope their program is a shambles, but I'm not sure about that.

MSU has built a good program around a great arena and some of the best fans in the country. Bobcat volleyball is flat out fun and we love it. No Bobcat sport can match the atmosphere in Shroyer, where noise reigns and weighs heavily on the opposing team. Actually, the opposing teams appear to love the energy when they come to Bozeman. Hopefully, Miya can translate the big time atmosphere into even better players on the court.
