Everybody knows about the Griz's world famous freshman kicker and what he has done. (yes the cats wanted him but didn't get him

)
Is it my imagination or has EJ started hitting everything including long FGs? He wasn't the cat kicker early in the year? Isn't he a Senior so you start all over next year? Didn't you have a freshman from Great Falls?

EJ has done a great job this year considering the skeleton’s in his closet he has had to over come. Good to see he got his shot and made the most of it. I think next week could be the testing point for his career, TO’s and FG’s could very well be the deciding factor for a W/L.
Yes, the freshman from GTF was former Cat Kicker Bolton’s son. I am told that he and Carpenter had similar HS stats, Bolton had better PAT/FG stats, Carpenter had better kickoff stats. Bolton was red shirted due to a foot injury? Sounds like he showed up to camp with the injury, and the games he kicked he was nursing the injury? The skin head seems to be pretty high on him, and thinks this could be an epic battle between cats/griz kicking game next year. Guess we will have to wait and see.
By the way, rumor is that Carpenter's first choice was the Cats, ended up with the Jizz for the scholarship, not by his first choice. That is the rumor from Helena; we all know how reliable rumors from Helena are.

I also think EJ has done a fantastic job this year considering what he has gone through...not to mention McCullough , Daws and the line ...don't know if anybody saw it yet this week but he got Big Sky Player of the Week honors.....In practice I have seen him kick it between the pipes at over 60 yards...just hope he gets the chance this weekend to show the Grizz what this senior is made of...

The kicking game is light years better all around. Kick offs in the end zone, field goal threat deep, whatever style punt is called for; the Cats even make extra points. All of these areas were pathetic the past few years.

E.J. has gained more and more confidence as the season has gone along and hopefully this weekend will be the culmination of a good senior year. Oh, and for the over 60 yards comment, his personal long is 62 yards. We aren't the only people who have noticed that he has a strong leg. Last week he received a letter from the NFL combine. He has to go to one of the 8 sub-combines and if he does well enough, he will be invited to Indianapolis. Personally, I am ecstatic for him because I have known him for so long and he is a good friend. Hopefully the Bobcat Nation can be happy for him as well.

Profisme, that is great that EJ could get a chance to be seen. He has definately come a long way this year, and I wish him the best this weekend and for whatever comes after for him.

If he can kick a football 60+ yards imagine how hard he could kick a Griz butt.
