Your Bobcat Christmas present
All right boys and girls I bet most of you did not know old Santa here was a Bobcat.
Well I got my engineering degree from MSU back in the 30's! Well most of you have
been quite negligent in sending me you Montana State Christmas wish list so I have been
forced track you down here! So what will you Bobcat present be? Before we get going
too far, lets make one thing perfectly clear, none of the " I would like world peace", I want
a national championship" bla bla bla wishes. I want concrete easily to define wishes. "I
want an all Big Sky Conference Offensive lineman" ...." I want a new Men’s basketball
coach", or "I want a new athletic weight training facility" all are OK, even "I would like
so and so from Billings to become a Bobcat" I can handle, but none of the wishy washy
pie in the sky wishes. If you wish for one of those you might not be happy with the
consequences. If you have watched old Twilight Zones you will know what I mean. So
list you wishes below and remember one wish per Bobcat!

Well, I was going to wish for the ability to wear my Bobcat gear anywhere in Montana without submitting myself to taunts like, "You suck, Griz Rule", BUT since that is akin to asking for world peace,
I'd really, really like see ALL our athletic debt retired... that's right, I'd love to see Bobcat Stadium, scoreboard, fieldhouse renovations, etc. PAID for so that future donations can go to new improvements.
Please, oh, please, Santa...

Big Sky conference volleyball tournament in Bozeman!
No more trumpet solos by the pep band for the national anthem!
Not so many basketball games on Monday and Tuesday.
Robin Selvig to retire.
Another Cass Bauer type center.
A soccer team.
Seating for the track stadium.
4 and 5 year basketball player careers under 1 head coach.
A payed off Turner Bobcat Stadium. Or Home Despot Stadium.
As much discussion of other sports as of american football.

And last but not least I wish that Santa would grant Champ a little creativity and please don't let him do any more country dancing at the games.
I couldn't even look Sunday at this display of "dancing". I sure hope the 12 people watching on TV didn't see it. At least his partner didn't get a shoulder dislocation.

I have split this topic off and I have sent the fan talk to the smack board to try and get this thread back on track. I also manually moved the few posts since I did the split that were still off topic. It could be a fun thread that xxxxxxx--I mean SantaCat--started so let's keep it going.
As for my wish, I would take a home playoff game please, that would be wonderful!

I hate to ask for too much, but I just thought of another one.
Dear SantaCat,
Please bring the Big Sky Conference competent officials in all sports. I haven't seen the bball refs yet this year, but it seems like they have been getting worse every year over the last 2 or 3 years.
I think we all know most people's thought on a certain football officiating crew this last year.
I know this is a big job, but I have confidence that you can cure our myopic zebra problems.

I wish Doug Fullerton falls down the chimney while attempting to mimic Santa Claus, and either has to retire as Big Sky president, OR he somehow hits his head, causing a chain reaction of events that somehow end up with all of his decisions being the opposite of his original instinct, ala George Costanza!

Dear Santa
I have been good...really good! So I EXPECT an uncontested untied Big Sky championship for the Bobcats Football Team in 2005.
I also would like a second place finish for my little step-brothers in Cheney Washington, and a nice big 5th place finish for my black sheep cousins in Missoula!
