Help!! Anyone have the Cat-Weber score or the "other school" score? Do we switch games on Saturday?

Saw the game on the Altitude network (the inlaws have Dish Network). What a wonderful and improbable win for the Bobcats!
MSU led by as much as 11 in the first half then didn't score in the last 4 minutes, but still led by about 6. Then in the early 2nd half Weber came out smokin' from 3 hitting 6 of 6 and getting a 3 point lead. I figured it was all over-this Bobcat team has a knack for losing leads at an incredible rate.
But then something amazing happened-Miller hit his shots, Moss got hot after sitting for a really long time, Dissly hit a big three, and Weber cooled off.
Towsley really showed the importance of just being big. He's slow, immobile, and can't rebound, but he got in the way if Lance Alred enough. Al had some good blocks and played well offensively too. Credit Durham for leaving the big guys in there and resisiting the temptation to go small.
Durhams 3rd win at Weber and MSU's 6th overall! This sort of thing doesn't happen very often so we should enjoy it.

Anyone else see the UM/ISU box score? ISU shot 19% from the field! Let's hope they have a repeat performance on Saturday. I've never seen a percentage that low.
Edit: I am mistaken. The MSU women shot 20% tonight and scored all of 28 points against Utah Valley. 37-28...I assumed that was the halftime score when I saw it the first time on Yahoo.

I will give credit where credit is due. I've been critical of some elements of our team (mainly the 3 point launching), but the area that won it for us last night was the swarming/trapping defense. I was very impressed with our team on the defensive end last night and being patient (more than usual) on offense. We did take the WILD 3's (And they went in!!!!!). I still think on the nights we don't make those though we will be going down hard as a team (we need to curb the 3 launching about 25% or so and make them good open looks). I was glad we tried moving it inside last night to Moss/Beye/Towsley a little. Those guards should know when they do that, they will get a lot more open looks outside that way. I also liked our guards did come in a little more and shoot mid range J's as well last night.
Job well done by Durham preparing this team defensively for Weber, thats what I like to see.

Durhams best teams have always been the ones that sneak up on people , <insert Joke , wise crach, or bitch here>. These are ussually teams that have a great deal of comradery, and unselfishness. The Bozo Comical had a recap of the game and afterward locker room celebrations.

I had the same internet problem Msla. I listened to the WSU broadcast instead. BTW, I wanted to compliment their broadcast team. They were very unbiased and enjoyable to listen to. On many occasions they complimented a MSU player, shot, block, etc. that you wouldn't expect to hear from the opposing team's radio men. Refreshing after listening to several other universities broadcasters. And this is not unusual since our internet feed is iffy a lot.

I couldn't get it on the I'net either and assumed others were having same problem. Hence the barrage of updates last night. I was probably just updating myself.
Yes, that's great that the WSU announcers are unbiased. It's hard to listen to a game with hometown cheerleaders, even when they're on your side.

1000 if you counted the players/trainers/coaches/TV announcers maybe. PATHETIC CROWD THEY HAD THEREhokeyfine wrote:i watched the game on altitude. the box score in the paper said 4100 people at the game...NO WAY. there were maybe 1000. you could hear durham and the players all the time. it was a great team win. if they play together i think they are just as good as anyone else in the league.
