Tyler was highly touted when he signed with MSU, has anyone heard on how he is doing? Will we see him on the field the next fall? Just curious.

He was redshirted last year. Last year at the Lobster feed, he told us that he was more of an athlete than his brother. He practiced early in the season as a safety, but they moved him again to offense as a receiver. We will find out more later as spring ball resumes.

I think he will be a good possession receiver...but maybe not catching passes from his brother that much...I think Kramer wants to shoot the moon next year...pull out all the stops and get personnel for one big push to the playoffs. This may or may not bode well for the playing time of a redshirt freshman...unless he arrives on the scene like his brother did.

The only problem is that when Travis came on the scene...we really needed a QB in a bad way. We have a pretty good group of receivers. If he is as good an athlete as people say, he will beat out Roosevelt and anyone else Kramer brings in. If he's just a good freshman receiver, look for him to earn his way on special teams and get a rep now and then on offense

His mom told us that Tyler had about twice the number of MVP and state titles that Travis had and he did it playing more positions in more sports

I hope he can beet out Roosevelt! Roosevelt is scared to death of getting hit and therefore, cannot catch anything over the middle. At this point he will probably never get over it.

My assessment exactly...he's got alligator arms!

His dad is a true football fan and is "gung ho" for Brandon playing football, but his mother hates every minute of the time he's on the field. this could have some residual effect on how he reacts going across the middle! I was told once by a coach that if you think about gettig hurt...you will! ....and he did!
