JaRon Jefferson was just huge tonite. His 25 points and the last shot were the obviuous things. But what about his defense all night on Criswell? He really came to play in his first Cat-friz game! He really has been the surprise of the season so far-I sure like his overall game.

Everyone else played decent, but not exceptional, which could bode well for us as the season moves along. Wow- 3 and o to start the BSC with three road wins. Way to go Cats!!!

Oh yeah-POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR grizzlies!

Seems like no matter how big a lead this team gets, they have to lose it, get a bit behind, cooly reel 'em back in, and win it at the end. Three in a row have gone that way.

I don't think that last play was how Durham drew it up, but I'm sure glad it was Jefferson launching it. The guy was awesome!

3-0 for these Cats-who'd a thunk it?

The stats for the game:

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/boxscore?gid=200501150372

4,415 in attendance??? I know the weather is bad and the students are gone, but that's really low-especially considering the griz aren't that bad.

arrogant buttheads? Sorry, some people just didn't like the direction the program was going and the lack of drive Mick appeared to have regarding his job. If people want Mick to go or stay is beside the point....we all want the Bobcats to win!!!

Good work by the team to go 3-0 on the road....things are looking ok for now!

Hornets vs. Bobcats

Post by SacHornetFan » Sun Jan 16, 2005 3:48 am

Hey guys...we beat Weber tonight 78-72 at The Nest. I can't wait to listen to the game on Thursday night. Should be a great match-up...we are still looking for our first road win this season...ironically our last road win was at your place to end the regular season last year.

GO HORNETS!!

What the hell is an Aggie (ucdavis)??

Wow what a great game. Wasn't too fond of the outcome, but a nail biter nonetheless. I expect great things from the Griz this year in the Sky...

Don't get too cocky now! You all remember the 20/20 Griz coming to Bozeman, concluding the Cats with a dunk by Mr. Dan Trammell! Hey the memories help in this situation....

Good luck to MSU the rest of the way. We'll see ya again.

Why is it this year the men and women play in Missoula/Bozeman at the same time instead of splitting the games?

Nick, they changed the format a few years ago so that fans can make a weekend of the games and view both games. I think it has worked out well for both schools to have a Cat/Griz weekend.

I've never said I wanted Mick fired. I've said that he should move into an upper-level job in the athletic department and let a young coach with high-level aspirations inject some life into the program. Yearly contracts make this a fairly clean transition.

The Big Sky is as down as it has been in some time. Portland State looks like the clear favorite at this point. Other than that, any order of finish would not surprise me.
