From Today's IR
MSU has new recruit Chase Gazzero listed at linebacker, but with dimensions of 5-10, 182 pounds he seems more suited to play safety, and strong safety at that.

Gazzero is a reigning state champion power-lifter and also ran repeated 4.4-second times in the 40-yard dash at MSU's football camp last summer.

MSU has added three 'preferred' walk-ons to its 90-man roster. Two are out of Skyview High School in Billings, while the other is from Shields Valley High School.
From the bleachers: Five ex-Northern Arizona Lumberjack assistants were on the sidelines at Super Bowl XXXIX: Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid, Eagle assistants Brad Childress (offensive coordinator), Tom Melvin (tight ends) and Marty Mornhinweg (senior assistant) and Dante Scarnecchia, the assistant head/offensive line coach of New England. Mornhinweg was also a quarterback at Montana in the mid-80s.
I didn't realize that Andy Reid coached for NAU.

Two are out of Skyview High School in Billings, while the other is from Shields Valley High School.

Braxton Thelen, a 5-10, 160-pound cornerback, and Jeff Price, a 6-0, 180-pound safety, are the Skyview duo.

Thelen was a two-time first-team all-state selection and Price was a first team selection at linebacker as a junior and made second team as a senior.

Matt Peebles, a 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive lineman, was a first team Class C All-State performer on both offense (center) and defense (end) the past two years. He also competes in basketball and track (discus).
