Saturday the women play
Sunday the men play (yep, Sunday  )

My prediction:
Griz women win by 8
Cat men win by 5

I think the outcome of each game will be directly associated to how both the Lady Cats and the Cats shoot the three ball. If the Lady Cats shoot the three well, I could see a game like the one in Missoula, if not Lady Griz by double digits. If the Cat men shot the three well, they win by about 8, if not, it goes to the wire, with free throws making the final score seem not as close as the game reallly will be.

Lady Cats are playing horrible this year (PSU game was painful to watch), whereas the Lady Griz look good, and are getting better. Look for the Lady Griz to go undefeated through the conference, get screwed on the seeding (consider what happened last year), and beat some overrated piece of junk team from the Big XII.
Lady Griz by 20 at the half.

The men are having a great season, and Brick Breeden is starting to rock out. The winner of this game will host the BSC tourney. The Griz have been on a tear since Davis took care of academics, and the Bobcats know they only have to win at home. The Griz seem better equipped to win at Sac and NAU, but haven't won in Brick Breeden since 2002. A lot of this will come down to who shows up, fanwise, this Sunday.
Bobs by 5.

I hate honest analysis of the game:

Griz men by 7

Lady Griz by 11

Cats lose last 6 games of the year.

cats by a dozen

cat women lose by a dozen

no way the griz host the tournament. cats control their destiny. psu is definately the front runner. nau won't host but will be the most dangerous in the tournament.

hmmm cats men buy 10 in an ass ugly contest marked by the davis-moss duo doing most of the scoreing and noone else even touches the ball *read into that however you want*

lady cats get killed - go on to loose to Butte High School lady bulldogs

buy the way what the hell are we talking about whoever wins this game hosts the big sky tournament for men? Id hate to point this out on this bord but Portland State is - yes it is - the leader by a half a game in the mens bracket and until that changes they are in the drivers seat - UM has no chance of hosting and MSU has a half a chance...not trying to be negative or anyting but honest in my assessment

Help me out here. I am hearing a lot of bitching from griz that the Cats players were "pulling the front of their jersey" after the Bobcat win in Missoula last month. OK I do not remember that, but i will accept for a moment it is true. What is the social fu-pa that has got the Griz so riled? Is it worse than holding up your index finger , were number one type thing, or is it the other finger type thing. Krysco is said to have/or is going to show the film of the Cats players doing this to rile up the players. Can someone help a 40 ish guy out hear.

I only watched the game on TV, but Jaron was definately doing a bit of showboating and shirt pulling after he hit the go ahead three. Didn't notice other players. I would say it is just showboating and the Griz players/fans just taking it as he was rubbing it in. I liken it to the football players celebrating on the Grizzly at midfield after winning in Missoula a couple years ago. Nothing to get excited about, but something Krysco can use to fire up his players and remind them how close they were last time.

I was there. It happened. Nothing to get crazy about, just some good-hearted ribbing. I have been to games when the home town fans took out their car keys and jingled them while chanting something . . . can't remember what the chant was, but the key jingling sure stuck with me. I guess that was more of a "this is our house" thing. Might be appropriate on Sunday. GOOOO CATS!!!!!

The shirt pulling is basically pulling your shirt tight (No Wrinkles) so it is clear to everyone in the gym and watching at home that MONTANA STATE just beat you.

I also think that he popped is collar after the game was over. A game winner isn't right if you don't pop the colla' afterwards.

  I witnessed the event. It looked to me like it was just a bunch of happy cats. Seemed like it was a normal ok reaction. I was kind of pleased that they realized that they had just done something important. After the last second win on the three 62-60 I think they were welcome to celebrate. Krysko looked over the replay and maybe decided to start working on getting a little interest in the cat griz rivalry. Thus he noticed that the chest beating was occuring in front of Griz fans. I assume he will run it to demostrate an event that could of been prevented if the Griz would have responded when they finally got up 60-55. It would be easy to say act like you know how to win but I think the Cat Griz rivalry needs a little injection and it is almost time to see what both teams learned from the cat win. Maybe celebrate at tournament.

The winner of this game has a very realistic chance of hosting the tourney since both the cats and griz still have portland st. at home. I wouldn't say the winner is in the drivers seat but it is very realisitc for this weekends winner.

A bunch of happy Cats .. you got it!! That shot was awesome. And who are the Griz fans that said JC players don't get into the Cat/Griz rivalry? Just a hunch that some of that chest beating was from some of the JC players? No??

Believe, me .. its a big game and the players from both teams know its a big game. EVERY player will be up for it. There should be some good matchups in this game (especially if teams play more man to man) - Jefferson/Criswell Moss/Davis Durham/Martin (curious to see on this one).
