Congratulations are in order!

I just want to congratulate Mick, and especially the players, on a great conference season! We are all very proud of what you accomplished, especially with all the negativity and bad press surrounding the team at the beginning of the year. I enjoyed all 5 home games I went to this year, and you guys are the sole reason fans started showing up again. Again, congratulations on a terrific season fellas!

Now give em hell in Portland!

I also agree. I was fortunate enough to make 4 games this year and watch a couple others on TV. I did find the Cats fun to watch this year and they give me great hope for next year with all key players returning. Kudos have to go to Mick for the job he did recruiting some key players, most at the last minute, and blending them together. Mick may not be perfect, but he did do a darn good job this year. More importantly to me, it really looked like Mick had more fun this year than I have seen for some time and he even got a bit fired up a few times! :D

Question for anybody that knows because I can't remember. Does the tourney reseed after the first round or is the bracket set? In other words will the Cats face the highest remaining seed or will they be playing the winner of the Montana vs. EWU/NAU matchup? I know I would much prefer the latter as I don't really like the idea of seeing Sac in the semi's, they just seem to match up with the Cats too well and think the chances of moving on would be better with UM/EWU/NAU.

I believe it reseeds and we would play the highest remaining seed. Not 100% sure, but I believe that is how it works.

That's correct, the tourney is reseeded after Round 1. MSU will play either UM, or the Sac/WSU winner if UM loses.

Damn. I hate playing SAC(if they beat Weber and the Fizz lose). Their style of offense is so annoying, if not maddening, and they get so many fouls called on their opponents. Plus Pugh can light it up, and they play fast, loose and rough on D. GOOO Weber!!

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
