What is your biggest concern regarding the 2005 season?
Also, I noticed on the FB schule on msubobcats.com that all games besides the Ok St will be on TV, or are at least slated to be.

Can I put in a vote for depth?
I think starter for starter, we are as good as anyone in the Big Sky....hell, anyone west of the Mississippi....but depth is the area which concerns me.
Hells Bells, if the Cats dont win this year - and that constitutes making a run in the playoffs for me - then I agree that coaching may need to be looked at. Kramer has made an amazing turnaround with this program, and I am excited in the future of it, but Mike has never posted a record better than 7-6. Its time for this team to take the next step, and I think this team is going to do just that.

Cat Pride- depth is a problem with any team and is not exclusive to the Cats. The team with the least amount of season injuries will win the BSC. However, my concerns are at RB and the defensive secondary.
I thought that JD was decent last year, but did not have the running season that I hoped he would have. Maybe he will really step up to the plate this year. We all know that the Cats were very weak at cornerback and safety positions and some problems with the defensive line. Will all of this be corrected in 2005?
A question that I have in regards to TV is, whom will it be, Altitude or Omega. My hope is Omega. Or we get a TV station going in Bozeman and carry all the games with local televsion.
One more thing I have gone to a few Blue/Gold games but never the Sonny Holland deal in Bozeman. Is it worth the drive to Bozeman for the SH classic?

I agree with you, but if our depth was developed better, then we could afford an injury or two and still proceed. Last year the secondary couldnt recover from injuries and the DL got wore down due to lack of depth.Robcat wrote:Cat Pride- depth is a problem with any team and is not exclusive to the Cats. I think the depth issue has been corrected on the DL for sure, I hope the same is happening with the DBs. Obviously Fuller/Austin learned a few lessons last year, and if Hunter/Smith come back from injury then we will have some depth back.
Every team gets injuries, its those who can compensate for the injuries that win championships.
