FB Ticket prices
Rumor:
Heard from a third hand source that a booster club announced FB tickets would cost $50.00 for next year’s games. While Boosters/QB club members can afford program support at this price, not a good rumor to have floating around. That last 25% we need to fill up the stadium is going to get spooked away with rumors like this. Many folks reading this board will gladly pay a steep price to support the program. My issue is let’s fill the stadium, then let supply/demand run ticket prices. Can anyone shed light on this RUMOR? Need to validate or quickly kill this one!

Are you saying 50 per game?

$50 for a season ticket is very reasonable, and there's no way they'll charge $50 per game for anything but the very best seats, other than maybe for Cat/Griz...[/i]

Keep in mind the 50.00 tickets are the pepsi zone tickets. Those were pretty much sold out last year though so not sure how many they will have for sale this year. This must be what Bronco bought 2 years ago when he had his terrible experience in Bozeman. Any bets he comes back next year though?JahGriz wrote:$50 bucks for season tickets. Isht, Griz fans may buy those up just to get easy Brawl tickets.

Geezzzz, I just contacted the other half and told her we can get season tickets, join the booster club and get to sit on the sidelines for less than ONE game at UGA
Last year, general admission was no less than 30 bucks a game in the nose bleed sections there. Why do we pretty much give away general admission tickets? Even Southern Conference tickets are pretty close in price to the major conferences.

Yep, Bobcat Tickets are a great deal. Is there a better place to take in a game/drink beer and tailgate than Bozeman, MT? (BRONCO you need not respond to thisCat Grad wrote:Geezzzz, I just contacted the other half and told her we can get season tickets, join the booster club and get to sit on the sidelines for less than ONE game at UGALast year, general admission was no less than 30 bucks a game in the nose bleed sections there. Yeah, nothing like a quality product at a quality price--but lets quit giving the tickets away. Actually, I'd like to see Justin get about a hundred and ten more handoffs and see if his numbers aren't a tad bit better than Ryan's were with the same number
Would have loved to see a little more clock management and ball control and we gonna have it this year

I think MSU just put the affordeable Pepsi zone section in initially at cheap prices because those seats weren't initially being filled on a consistent basis. Most stadiums do have budget sections that they use to get a more consisten fan base to attend the games etc. Then once that fan base/winning as a result usually happens .. they will bump up the ticket prices etc. I'd estimate that they only have about 2500 max Pepsi zone seats they sell probably? The other tickets are more expensive on the sideline sections etc.Cat Grad wrote:Yeah, nothing like a quality product at a quality price--but lets quit giving the tickets away. What happened two years ago is that the friz bought hundreds of the Pepsi Zone season tickets just so they could secure the Bobcat friz ticket. I think they may have limited the amount of Pepsi Zone tickets that you can buy at one time.CARDIAC_CATS wrote:I think MSU just put the affordeable Pepsi zone section in initially at cheap prices because those seats weren't initially being filled on a consistent basis. From the Georgia Southern website:Cat Grad wrote:Geezzzz, I just contacted the other half and told her we can get season tickets, join the booster club and get to sit on the sidelines for less than ONE game at UGA Embarassed Last year, general admission was no less than 30 bucks a game in the nose bleed sections there. It's 90 bucks for chair back seats at Georgia Southern (in case anyone is wondering).SUBWAY Family Plan
The Georgia Southern University Department of Athletics and Subway Restaurants will team up again to offer area fans a special family season ticket plan for the 2005 football season.
With a minimum purchase of three Subway Family Plan season ticket packages for $50 each – which represents a savings of $9.00 per ticket, per game – fans can enjoy a seat in Section J at Paulson Stadium for all five exciting regular season Eagle contests this fall.
Anyway, I might guess this will be a common pratice across the country, having low priced season tickets in less desirable locations.
