Jason Goodman Update

Post by JahGriz » Mon Mar 14, 2005 10:45 am

I am a Student at UW. I recently joined this boared and I've been a Die hard Husky my whole life. I was wondering if anyone on this board has heard of Jason Goodman? I met him a couple of weeks ago. He seemed very nice and polite. I was flat amazed when I saw this kid running routes. Granted he was probably not playing against the best comp, but the guy being 6'5'' and 270 pounds has moves like a receiver. He never dropped the ball and talking to him latter he says he plans on completing his associates degree at north seattle and joining the dawgs in the fall. I'm not an expert but have seen a lot of football and this dude would come in and dominate. He said he gave up a full ride at montana to be a husky. I hope he gets his shot. P.S. after he got done running routes he finished his workout by sprinting the stairs. we need guys like this.

Dude can play.

Had offers to Big Ten and Pac Ten schools out of highschool. Went to MSU to get chance to play tight end. Bigger schools told him he would most likely end up on d-line.

Wish he was still a Bobcat. His sister plays bball at MSU

This is a big change from the reports last summer that Goodman was out of shape, over weight, drunk every night and trying to pick a fight with anyone on two legs.

Okay, I can't help myself. The Jr. High boy inside my head thought that last post read kind of funny.

I know what you meant, but that satan/satin thing made all the difference in the world in what I read.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one.
