That sounds good, but i really hope we sign craddock as well. I think that we need craddock. I really like him and he would be a great addition to the team.

I think this is a great pick-up in as a recruiting target. I had heard that Durham wanted to
pick a high school guard this spring and both Casey and Ryan looking real good this year
was going for the "best" point guard or shooting guard available. From what I heard
Durham had some great basketball players looking at MSU, and he took the best. I hear
that both 6-4 Derek Lorenzen of Nevada and 6-2 David Cernin were both very much
interested in signing with the Cats, but Durham and Company went with Wilson. On my
list I had Lorenzen and Wilson ranked 1a and 1b. Lorenzen I hear has outstanding range
as well as good guard post up moves and a great leader. Wilson a great point guard,
fast, quick, and a great penetrator, plus can shoot it out to 3 point range. He does though
have a rep as not a point Guard that passes first and shoots later. I hear the coaches view
him one of those under recruited players that lost up in Idaho and Montana. He most
likely could contribute next year much like Brown did his freshman year, but will most
likely be redshirted.

He's still going to MSU but the reports of his father's caoching future at ISU were in question.

I am also pretty sure he is coming to MSU. No one in the League is better at developing Point guards than Durham

Well, that explains the 5-guard look.

Im wondering if he will be good enough to start in the future. He might as a senior, but as of right now I see Casey Durham being the starter after Jefferson leaves until he graduates.

If Jefferson and Miller were to graduate today, Holmes would start at the Point and Casey at the off guard. Coaches feel Casey is more of an off guard than Point and Holmes is more of a Combo guard. They are really looking to red shirt a guard next year, with Wilson would be a leading candidate, although if I were Holmes I would not take that for granted. When Miller and Jefferson do graduate quite clearly Holmes (who will be a JR), Casey (JR), and Wilson (Fr) will compete for the Starting positions.
Wilson in my opinion is a very good get for us. You can criticize Durham all you want, but what he does know is how to pick out and develop Guards. I think Wilson is every bit as good of a point guard prospect as Brown was, but with a more developed offensive Game.

I didn't know that he was thought of as more of an off-gaurd. I agree with the notion of Ryan Holmes though. I like him a lot and I hope he turns out to be a great player.
