FINALLY!

Post by catatac » Thu Mar 31, 2005 1:21 pm

BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Eight days later, the Bobcat football team is
beginning spring drills this afternoon (Thursday) at 3:30 pm on the
Bobcat practice fields.
Montana State's first practice will be a non-contact affair, but
Kramer is looking forward to it nonetheless. "It will be good to get
them out there together, stretch the legs out, and get going."
The 'Cats return 10 starters on offense and six on defense from
last year's 6-5 squad that posted MSU's fourth straight winning season
in conference play. MSU is also scheduled to practice Friday at 3:30 pm
and Saturday.

-msu-

Hopefully some of you Bozemanites out there can hit a few practices and keep us up to speed on how things are looking! :D

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Anyone in Bozeman watching the Spring practices?? Any updates would be greatly appreciated from a Cats crazy football fan in California.
If anyone has a digital camera, pictures would be great too.

I just checked out what I could see of practice from the Cateye. Not much. I see the O on the far field and a whole string of cars watching along the fence between the parking lot and the practice fields.

Thanks for the info 2Cats. I was also checking out the Web cam. Coach Kramer must be on to the camera. The team was practicing behind a building out of sight of the camera. Ya think he would cut a bobcat dad a break and let him see the team practice!!!! I promise......no Griz coaches will be spying on the team with the "eye in the sky" (HA, HA)

I watched the practice on Friday and for the second practice they looked pretty good. The kicking game looked excellent from what I saw and the O-line was performing well. Lulay missed a pitch out to a receiver but his drop steps look good. Also, Domineck looks like he has lost quite a bit of weight and he appeared to be quicker to the hole and cgetting to the outside better.

The cats practice on the field just south of the field house. I don't think that they want to tear up the field at the stadium. There is also more room on the practice field.

How is spring going has anyone been attending practice? and how is the defense looking expecially the secondary, is everything going okay with the learning process of the 3-4 defense.
