NFL CATS Update
Does anyone have any updates? I think we all know where/what Joey Thomas is up to. Any ideas where Brett Swaggert, Jon Taylor or others are up to??

Swaggert signed with the Titans in January and they optioned him to NFL Europe. He is playing for the Cologne Centurions -- http://www.nfleurope.com/players/playerpage/1501
Haven't heard anything on Taylor, though I believe there is a poster here that is close to Taylor and has given regular updates. Should be able to find something by searching the old posts here.

There does appear to be another Cat in the pros. Ken Amato #58 - Tennessee Titans - He is their long snapper. Probably graudated around 1999 or so (just before Dusty)?

I think JT would have gone to Europe in a heartbeat if that were an option. They certainly pay better in Europe then in Arena Ball. I guess JT is hurt right now too, so he isn't even playing. I think if you go from the NFL to Arena Ball the chances of going back to the NFL are pretty slim.BleedsBlue&Gold wrote:What are your thoughts on Arena Ball?
Is it a place where a guy like JT could spend some time in hopes of getting better and making it back into the league? Or would there time be better spent in NFL europe?
