I woke up this morning to read in the Billings Gazette that Carroll College has signed Missoula Sentinal star Kellen Hasquet to play basketball alongside transfer Henkel from Eastern Washington.

Carroll men land Henkel, Hasquet
HELENA - Carroll College men's basketball coach Gary Turcott has announced that Eastern Washington guard Eric Henkel is transferring to the Helena school.
Henkel, a 6-foot-4 guard, signed with Eastern Washington out of high school, averaging seven minutes per game as a freshman. The former Montana Gatorade player of the year at Missoula Sentinel played in all 28 games, averaging 14 minutes per game as a sophomore and started in four games.
"Eric is one of the best basketball players to come out of the state of Montana in the last three years," said Turcott. "We are very excited about the future with Eric in our program."
Henkel is one of three players that left the EWU team after an 8-20 season.
"I am excited for a fresh start and the opportunity to get back to playing my game," Henkel said. "Carroll provides a chance for me to accomplish my goals both academically and athletically."
Turcott also announced the signing of Missoula Sentinel senior Kellen Hasquet.
As a senior, the 6-foot-7 Hasquet averaged 16 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, while dishing out 3.6 assists and an intimidating 2.3 blocks per game, as well. The forward earned several postseason accolades including first-team all-state as a senior and second-team all-state as a junior, along with being named as a McDonalds All-American nominee.
Carroll advanced to the semifinals of the NAIA national tournament this season, losing to eventual champion John Brown.
