According to the release from MSU about the Great Falls scrimmage it sounds like this Saturday's scrimmage is now going to be at 11 am. No idea what the plan is for length of scrimmage or other activities that day. I would think they will announce more this week, at least I hope they will.

As far as activities that day, there is a Lobster Feed 2005. From what I hear, most if not all the senior ball players will be there. If you are interested in attending you should call Madeline @ 994-3741 by Wednesday morning April 13kmax wrote:According to the release from MSU about the Great Falls scrimmage it sounds like this Saturday's scrimmage is now going to be at 11 am. According to the latest MSU press release, the Saturday scrimmage will be live for all players, including QB's, but Lulay will not be participating. Interesting, will be nice to see how the backups do with actual pressure.
While Mike Kramer said he's not trying to turn the clock ahead a year,
he will get a look at what his Bobcat offense is like without Travis
Lulay on Saturday. The 'Cats stage a live scrimmage at 11 am Saturday,
and all players -- including quarterbacks -- will be live. The twist is
that Travis Lulay will sit out the scrimmage, giving way to reserves
Cory Carpenter and Rick Coppack.
"I see it as a situation with a lot of opportunities," said MSU coach
Mike Kramer. "It will be a full-fledged scrimmage, live on the
quarterbacks, with as close to a game-day feeling as we can get. This
gives our young quarterbacks a game-type feeling, with the possibility
of impromptu plays. It also gives our defense the chance to go at the
quarterback. It should be good for the young quarterbacks, and good for
the defense."

There is a track meet at 11:00 and a scrimage scheduled for 2:00. However I have heard via the grapevine that the scrimage is at 11:00. I have called Josh Wango at MSU and when I get a clarification I will pass it on.
In the evening at 6:00 is a hosted social hour followed by a lobster dinner, auction and dance. Football players will be there, I think at each table. This should be a blast, cost is $75. But you had better hurry as they are about ot close any further sales. Time to step up to the plate, so to speak, and support the Cats.

From what I understand, the originally scheduled time was at 2:00, but that was when it was still going to be the last scrimmage of the Spring. When they cancelled the first Bozeman scrimmage and had to reschedule stuff I think it got changed to 11:00. Please let us all know if you get confirmation one way or the other though.
