Has anyone heard anything new on our new coach and if she has hired a staff, and which recruits she has signed or lost since taking office?

I should have checked the gazette...I forgot that I had to read every newspaper in the state OTHER THAN THE CHRONICLE to find out information on the cats.
Does anyone else get the impression that the chronicle just posts stuff that they see on this website, while other newspapers are actually working to find NEW information?

Nice signature line, by the way. I hadn't noticed it before.

At least Montana has this site going; makes you long for the days when THE Company owned all the papers in the state. At least we had sports coverage back in the day

And we're all sitting here wondering what product to offer this state?????? Look at what kind of sales Kearney is getting with his book Beyond the Great Divide or whatever. Put something together with all the small schools and our colleges getting decent coverage, and we all know the potential is limitless. We've already got a pretty decent marketing director in here that could get us started, several that know how to cook books, more than a few who do a great job on websites...Time for another beer. Shucks, there's several in here that write much better than any of the "Pulitzer Prize winning Hungry Horse News" editors and their lame attempts at Garrison Kealor or whatever. Heck, we could probably sell the papers out of car trunks to all the tourists that want a real Montana experience...along with post cards mocking tourists instead of all of us...

Yeah, while at the same time mocking and degrading everything posted on said website...

But, when a newspaper hires a North Dakotan in Montana to write about sports...perhaps it's time for a few North Dakota jokes

2 Montanans and a North Dakotan were riding in the back of a pickup, when it suddenly swerved off a bridge and plunged into a river. Both Montanans jumped out of the bed and swam to safety. They then watched in horror/amusement as the North Dakotan drowned trying to open the tailgate.....
