I would rather we give our extra offensive scollies to younger guys to develop, our depth is already pretty good at that spot.

I agree, I would actually like to see another D-lineman come in. A nose tackle type. We might be fine there with Saucedo, Siataga, Hoffenbacker and possibly O'Tool playing NT but would like to see another one added. Would also like to see another DB added as well. As for Jevon, welcome to MSU! Look forward to seeing you play!

GO CATS!!

This late in the year, you don't pick up top quality HS players that you can bring along later. Those mostly have all committed, as well as the top JC players.

If you have 4 scholarships left, you pick up Div 1A players that want to drop down to get playing time after their just concluded Spring Practice indicates to them they are not going to get it where they are.

This guy doesn't look like a front line receiver, but adds depth. Would probably add speed to Special teams, always a good thing.

He would burn a scholarship for only 1 year, thus opening the scholarship for the next recruiting class. All positive things.

Plus, Kramer has several others so it's not the last one he has to give out. This doesn't appear to be to bad, and it might not be a scholarship (or even a full one).

All very good points.

You also have to consider the fact that Kramer and/or someone on his staff may have recruited this guy when he was in high school, so there might be more information known about him through are coaching staff then we know about.

I see it as more depth. Can he return kicks or punts? Either way, speed speed speed.
