I dont understand how anyone associated with MSU or UM couldnt vote for Cat-Griz as the national game of the year. Forget the fact that its I-AA, its one of the best football rivalries in all of college football. Definitely one of the longest running rivalries.Cat Grad wrote:Thanks. Had a hard time on the game of the year but went with the Governor's Cup based on the outcome of our game last year with EWU. Also think the PSU game will be pretty physical.

If there was a place to vote for an alternate game, then I'd put MSU-EWU right there.mquast53000 wrote:Very good point Cat Pride. The Cat/Griz game is the game of the year for 1-AA, and I would make the argument for all of college football! If you could vote for #2 game of the year it would have to be the MSU vs Eastern Washington game, especially when you consider the last 4 years!
As it is, even the east coast biased media gives cudos to Cat-Griz. That says a lot!

That's probably because they are all pulling for the Cats to spank Montana!! They don't like UM out there I think. Especially with all their biased home game buy offs and scheduling cancellationsCat Pride wrote:If there was a place to vote for an alternate game, then I'd put MSU-EWU right there.mquast53000 wrote:Very good point Cat Pride. You just wish you could have a home playoff game.
And I wasn't going to say anything but Wildrat pulled it out of me. Ask the Eagle fans and the UM game is the one they care about not the state game. Is your corner still chasing Kimble?

Uh-huh... I'm thinking EWU is probably quite concerned/excited about both games.jagur1 wrote:You just wish you could have a home playoff game.![]()

Vote Now! 2005 I-AA TV Game of the Week and Year Survey!
Voting Time!
I-AA.org
http://www.i-aa.org/survey.asp
This past Spring we initiated the nomination process to suggest games for national television I-AA Game of the Week. All the nominations are in and now it's time to vote!
You receive one vote so select a game from each week and a game of the year, fill in your name and email address, and click the submit button.
Follow the results at I-AA.org. Once the survey is completed appropriate television networks will be notified of the recommendations. The networks retain the right to make final decisions. (last year's results)
Ballots will only be accepted through the form until 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2005. The results will be published shortly thereafter. (print weekly list)

So I have to ask ... do your controls prevent people from voting 1,000 times? Otherwise, the Daley-era Chicago impersonators from UM will have that ballot box stuffed tighter than than an SEC school's "Rocks for Jocks" class.

Yeah it is all databased with logging info. Some joker from NDSU voted with every ndsu.edu email address last year.... LOL! We would use the extra "type the letters/numbers yousee in the image" control but people seem to hate that. What we use prevents most abuse.Bay Area Cat wrote:So I have to ask ... do your controls prevent people from voting 1,000 times? Rat: I know that last post was just an excuse to whip up your graphic, but when people use the "pot calling kettle..." phrase, they generally actually have some idea that the person is saying something hypocritical.
Since I am way too lazy to stuff ballot boxes of any kind, and I further have never done it because I think it is kind of sad, your whole post is just kind of a head-scratcher. It's cute, I'll give you that, but it makes no sense.
