Coaches salaries

Does anyone know where one could find out what the Montana and Montana State coaches current salaries are?
I am not sure but I believe Durham is closer to $100,000 after 15 years. I though I remember that when kennedy was hired at UM he was making about $10,000 more than Durham and a wopping $25,000 more than Selvig, but I was tring to confirm my memory.catatac wrote:Last year at a meeting, Kramer said his base salary is around $90,000. QB club and other incentives take it to around $125,000 if memory serves.
Not sure about the Griz coaches but I'm sure it's similar.
What is the regents site address. blowhards.com? judysboys.com? mercerlackys.com? whydoweneedaeducation.com?catamaran wrote:I work in a university library....there aren't any lists of that nature here. The best bet would probably be the regents home page
LOL! 'nuff said!mslacat wrote:What is the regents site address. blowhards.com? judysboys.com? mercerlackys.com? whydoweneedaeducation.com?
$100K plus or minus 10K for the head football and men's basketball coaches. Krames' base is more than Hauck's.mslacat wrote:Does anyone know where one could find out what the Montana and Montana State coaches current salaries are?
OK listen. I am in a bet/debate with a Griz. By next Wednesday I need to find the info. The crux is what is the dollar amount the W-2 form he gets from the University. The conversation started with me questioning how UM could screw Robin Selvig for being so loyal to UM. It was my claim that when Kennedy was coach he was making more than Durham with over 10-12 year experiance (To which the Griz do not care), and Robin Selvig with about 100 years in the Big Sky. By almost every measurable matter Selvig was the better coach. Winning percentage, years at the institution, graduation rates, accedemic performances, NCAA appearances, and even the women's attendence ( income) on par with the Mens . Yet Selvig was being paid less by I think $25,000 less because he was a "women'" coach . I will owe a lunch if I am wrong, and I am extreemly cheap!raincat wrote:Are you asking about "coaching salary" with the Great State of Montana logo on the check? or are you talking about total income from all sources, including salary/radio/tv/speaking/camp/incentives/etc. revenue? I seem to recall when Chuck Lindeman put coach Kramer's deal together the whole thing had a potential of something like $150K. I don't know if the late attempt by the griz to intercept him on his way to Bozeman upped his ante.
Let's take it a little easy on the cheap shots on other posters, okay? We try to maintain a decorum a little higher than your native board, and I admit that takes a little getting used to.toots wrote:Hey mslacat, if someone like you, who obviously spends 24/7 on the internet, can't dig up these salaries, who can? Or is this another one of those stupid threads where you already know the answer?
In 2003, both Selvig and Kennedy were listed in the budget at $95K. That's just the salary for being the head coach for their respective teams.mslacat wrote:OK listen. I just don't see a reason to take a shot at a guy (it didn't read like a "critique" -- it read like somebody using a second handle to belittle a frequent poster) -- I posted that as a fellow poster. I had just got done reading a thread of crap over on egriz between a couple children in adult bodies, and I'd hate to see this board start adopting that approach to posting. It's interesting that you seem to think that since some people are unfair towards the high school and college athletes that you then should be equally unfair to your fellow posters. How about going the other direction and say something to encourage people to quit being unfair to those athletes and coaches instead? This is kind of the "two wrongs don't make a right" philosophy.toots wrote:Hey Moderator, my bad. Didn't realize that posters were off limits to critique. If I'm to understand this process then, high school and college athletes and their coaches are open to questioning, critique and down right ridicule, by name no less, but we don't dare "touch" the ANONYMOUS posters.
Multiple handles?........hey just wanted to be like you.
Peace out......I'm done.
