Tommy Craddock, a 3 star, a 6-8 forward / center , from Mariner (WA) HS has signed with North Idaho JC for next year. Both the Griz and the Bobcats were recruiting him hard, but he just did not have the grades to go D-1. Both the folks from Rivals.com and Scout.com thought he would have been a steal for a Big Sky School. As of January/Febuary he was a lock for a commitment for the Cats (I hear this from the Washington side of things) if things could have worked out. From the Cats side of things I hear they still would have sign Braden Johnson over Craddock. Craddock is the opposite type of big man from Johnson. Craddock is a low post guy will not shoot any farther than 5-10 feet from the basket, great hands. Craddock has been on the recruiting map for about three years, but seemed to fall down on the Washington 2004-05 recruiting list last year after a sos so year. Johnson was not on any ones, out side of Washingtons, recruiting list until he had a great senior season. Johnson can play inside and also shot the three point shot. Craddock was an honable mention 4a player Johnson was second team.
If Craddock gets his grades together expect to see him in the Big Sky Conference in two year.
