Those of us not living in Bozeman really did not get to know Martrel, but everthing have I heard from my friends in Bozeman was that Martrel was a excellent representitive for the University and basketball team. I am sorry we did not get to see more of Martel on the basketball court and wish him luck

BTW is the new college a D-2, NAIA, or JC

If the title of the thread is a hint, Mira Costa, it's a JC in the northern part of San Diego County.

OK I am not that dense, I caught the Mira Costa.... but I am sorry but I do not have all of
the California colleges classifications memorized.

Thanks though for that info. I actually do believe that I will follow him next year.

Joe Frazier is his nick name and all of the players loved matrel as a player and a person....but matrel has moved on and he will be fine where ever he lands....and when he lands I just hope that he is totally honest with himself and how hard he wants to work to become the player he once was....

Sorry, I didn't mean to be pejorative. I was actually mixing two responses (the original posting set the thread as Mira Costa while at the same time saying " will be going to a college next year in the san diego area not saying which one it is " which I thought was a little funny to read.

In any case, it's a two year school for mostly locals.

The original Post was from the user "martrel johnson" - Location Oceanside (which is where Mira Costa is) - so it might have been Martrel himself giving a welcome update on this status/location.
