I heard today that Carson Durr's dad was moving fom Roberts to Billings West. He did so much for that little school. Any ideas why?

I hope he's not eyeing the head coaching position. Coach Robison just came back last year, and unless Robison doesn't want to coach his son for another two years, I don't see him being the head coach.

His 6-man team went undefeated until the state championship, where they lost to Highwood. Is a good football coach...real motivator.

The way that I understand it, is that the school asked Randy to leave. In fact, they wanted him to leave so badly that they bought out the remaining three years of his existing contract (which isn't easy for a little school to do). I don't want to go into all of the details, but I'm sure many of you can read between the lines.

That really surprises me?! He did so much fo that little school...really put it on the map, especially with his boys in athletics. What part of the "school" asked him to leave? The Board, teachers, students....who?
I am curious how you know so much about this....are you from around there? :?

I have family in that area....I'm not sure of all of the specifics, but he was asked to leave. I don't want to go any deeper than that because I don't know anything first hand, and I know how gossip spreads in small towns. I have never met the guy, and really don't know a thing about him other than he's Carson and Sheldon's dad.

Either way, I sure he is making a hell of a lot more money at West, and I wish him and their family the best of luck.
