I think it went down to tie-breaking methodology that is decided by determining which school's fanbase is the most sophisticated, witty and stunningly handsome (and modest). I'm pretty sure, anyway.

Congratulations to all the fine student athletes at MSU. In my opinion, this is one of the finest sports trophies a college can win as it not only relfects on your athletes, but your academics/institution as a whole.
