Tight Ends

Post by HelenaCat95 » Thu Jul 14, 2005 12:21 pm

Who is going be the starting TE, and what will the rotation be?
When we go to Kramers 2 TE set, who will be the second TE?
And how do they look?

I heard that the offense is looking at running a lot of 2 back sets. I'm not sure if they are 3 receiver no TE sets, or if it is two receiver single tights. Either way, I don't think we will be running as many 2 TE sets as we did this spring.

As for who the starting TE will be....I haven't a clue.

In regards to Brian Ouilhon, it's time to let the "cat out of the bag". I am saddened to say that Brian decided to call it quits from MSU. Between a nagging shoulder injury and the fact that he missed California, Brian asked for his release from his scholarship and will not be returning to MSU next year!!!!
I wish MSU continued success and I will ALWAYS consider myself part of the bobcat family. I will continue to check out this site daily and even throw out my biased opinions from time to time.
Brian is recuperating his shoulder and has been hitting the gym hard. He plans on taking a year off from football and is going to re-evaluate if he still has a passion for the sport next year. I can only hope that some day we will see him in a bobcat uniform again.
It's been fun talking to all of you football fans and the only other thing I can say is...........GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!

Micheal,

Good luck to Brian. I hope his shoulder gets back to 100 %. It would be great if he came back to MSU. I hope his experience was good and he has some fond memories if he does not come back. Eiher way, it was probably good for him to experience life in a little different environment for awhile!

Micheal,

Same here. Good luck to Brian. Was looking forward to seeing him play this fall. Glad he decided to take a break and try to heal up before he does permanent damage to it. If he does heal up, hope to see him in a Bobcat uniform in the future.

GO CATS!!

Agreed. All the best to Brian and your family. He's welcome back - even just to finish his degree - or fish - or whatever!

BobcatDad,

I echo the above comments!

Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!! Hope to see Brian back at MSU.

Two back sets or H-back sets?

I'm not positive, but it sounded like 2 split backs, with Domenic and Gathing (or Groves). I also wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of motion and formation shifts this year that would put domenic outside as a receiver.

We have a veteran offense, and I think that Bailey is going to do some pretty interesting things with them this year.
