I'm a EWU Alum now working out here at MSU and have never been more excited for a game. I was out here, and I know the implications of CAT/griz, but I know for sure I will be traveling out to Spokane for this year's game of the year. EWU has been ranked very high since the end of last season, and our CATS have been underated for too long. Let me know what you think.

This should be a barn burner just like last year. We should have won it if we had a ground game in the second half. We'll need to keep your offense off the field as much as possible and win the turnover battle and time of possession battle. No way of really telling how this game will go. It'll come down to who is on a better role and health wise.

GO CATS!!

This game will be decided by TO's and who has the best defense. Both teams will score enough to allow their teams to win. Which defense is going to show up will be the deciding factor.

On another note, don't get me wrong .. I like our safeties, but I wish we had a little more speed back there. We gave up a lot of busted plays last year where the Safeties could not run down the guy until Cooper busted in from behind to save the play or the guy scored. Do we have enough speed in the safety area?? I agree that scheme and tackling makes a big difference and maybe it was the busted corner plays from last year with Fuller (he did a heck of a job for a Frosh thrown to wolves though) or if it was just we didn't have enough speed? We will get beat once in a while at corner, but I really didn't like all the BIG BIG PLAYS we gave up on defense last year. Thoughts?

If Fuller moves to fre safety we'll have the speed, and Force did play corner lst year so he's not slow.

I think the game is going to be in Cheney

To be fair in the poll, you should have had a selection for EWU over 15............just a comment.

Ya'll are right about the EWU by 15...I thought I put it on there, but missed it. And to be completely honest, even though I am an EWU alum it hurt to see US get beat like that last year here at home. This year I will be traveling out to CHE-WA (Cheney for those of you who aren't familiar with the slang) and I have a feeling I will be pushing the CATS to a victory and put them in the drivers seat for the BIG SKY TITLE!!!

That's interesting. Why do you think so? According to the poll, our chances aren't real good.

Hey Torrey, where would be the best place to stay? I am flying into Spokane, and am looking for a place with a shuttle to the airport and in walking distance from the bars. Are there any hotels that provide shuttle service to the games?
