Question 1 - Which one looks like they could play safety as well?
Question 2 - Which one could beat the crap out of the other two?

Weber State's first-year head coach Ron McBride, when asked how many wins it would tak to mark an improvement over last year's 1-10 squad: "Two."

If any scouts say they think Murietta or Meyer is the most prototypical QB in the BSC, then Lulay should send that scout this picture. Those other two look like slobs standing next to Lulay. What a difference good posture makes.

Totally agree. Lulay looks like is a workout fantatic. He's in EXCELLENT shape coming into this year. WATCH OUT!

Meyer must be standing in a low spot because the rosters say he and Trav are the same height. His feet do sort of fade into the ground.

If he's 6'2'', I'm at least 6' - cool.

They always say don't judge the book by its cover, BUT Travis looks like he is prepared and ready to play. The other two look like a couple of slob punks.

Either of those "slobs" could end up being better than your straight laced Lulay this year. Look at who has the narrowest shoulders, and look who is most likely to fumble the football the way he is holding it.
Lulay does look shaped up, no doubt, just too bad looks won't win anybody any games.

You're right, looks won't win games but abiltiy and leadership will.
Travis has more than demonstrated that he is able to provide both.

I suppose Meyer will never fumble seeing how he isn't holding a football. Probably won't throw any interceptions either. Have you ever heard of posing for a picture. Get real, trying to compare fumbles to this picture.

Your right, don't judge the book by it's cover, but 3 chapters have already been written and these three give the Big Sky Conference tremendous creditbility at QB. I think after the first 3 chapters Lulay deserves an edge over Meyer with Murietta a ways behind. This season could determine who has the edge... or it could be a draw!

Why didn't you say anything about the comments made by cat fans on how they look. And why do you think I said that? Because it is so obserd to make judgements on looks. I think my point was made. Do you honestly think I was being serious?
BTW, Meyer does not appear to have a ball, so would be tough to fumble it. Perhaps he's got the quickest release of the bunch.

Again, for the slow people, I'm not actually saying Meyer has the quickest release.

bbac,
You finally contributed something worthwhile and asked a pretty decent question. I can't believe it. Mars must be aligned with Jupiter, or perhaps some other cosmic event contributed to your glimmer of inteligence. Take a deep breath and relax, this too will pass.

seems like meyer is standing a little bit back from Murietta and Luley and therefore his appearing shorter.
funny how people want to say how one would do according to a picture, sounds alot like what egriz would do, dont ya think?!?!

In an attempt to bring this thread full circle, and since I kind of started this banter, I was only commenting on how the players looked in this particular photo and not how they play.
As we all know, it's not how you look, it's how you do. But the NFL scouts usually have a particular height, speed, and throwing velocity that they measure and just judging from this picture it looks like Lulay has the height-factor edge, for whatever that's worth. I hear some posters say he can't throw deep, while others say he throws too hard. There's no questioning his running ability. Meyer is a great running QB, too, but I don't know much about Murietta. I'm guessing Meyer has the best arm (distance) since he's being drafted by baseball teams every year. I hear Murietta has the best touch on the ball.
So everyone should be happy.
But still if I had to pick from that photo w/o knowing anthing about them, I'd take the guy on the right..."door #3 Monte." And then Monte sez: "You've just won an all expenses paid trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee!!!!"
