John Taylor waived

Post by SteelheadBum » Sat Aug 27, 2005 8:41 am

Atlanta Falcons waived Big John Taylor yesterday. I think John is just TOO NICE to play in the NFL. A great guy. I hope he finds his true calling. Hell, we all want our true calling in life for that matter!!

I saw Jordan Beck, former Cal Poly LB,(now with Atlanta) make some great plays against Jacksonville. Then he made a great interception & returned it for at least 20 yards. After the tackle, he got hauled off the field on a cart. He looked like he had a badly injured leg/knee/ankle but he was smiling. Too bad about his injury because he is going to be a starter by next year.

I still have not seen or heard anything about Roger Cooper with the Miami Dolphins. Anyone else???

Brent Swaggert is buried on the Titans Right Tackle depth chart. Hopefully he make the team. Ken Amato should survive to make the 53 man Titan roster. Roos from EWU is the RT starter for now. Impressive for a rookie!!

Joey Thomas is becomming the Man at corner in Green Bay. He knows how to work harder and he is mentally tougher than the other corners. His only problem is inexperience for this year. Next year, he is really the Man.

GO CATS!!! :D

I would love to see Joey Thomas do well but he has always been injury prone and that does not bode well for an NFL carreer.

Side note: J.T. was in Bozeman this weekend. He was with his finance enjoying the nightlife Friday. He said he is doing well, and that he visits Bobcat Nation all the time to see how things are going for the Cats. Sorry to hear that he didn’t make it with Atlanta. He looks to be in really good shape, so I wouldn’t count him out for this season quite yet…
