Does anyone know?

Post by PDXKat » Wed Aug 31, 2005 1:39 pm

Last year it seems we were able to, on Sportsjuice (Sj), get the Wednesday evening show done at Old Chicago with Kramer and a player or two. I think they are doing it again tonight, does anyone know if it will be available via Sj again. Also, the archived games were easy to play last year, I can't find them now?

Looks like they recently changed some stuff on the sportsjuice site as I was able to get into the archives just a couple weeks ago, but now I can't find them either. Also, pretty sure you could use RealPlayer to listen previously and now they are requiring Windows media player. I don't know if they will have the show on tonight or not. I will see if I can get any answers out of XL country.

Once again an extremely quick response from Pete Hanson over at XL Country. He has said that they will be doing the Bobcast show, however it will not be streamed tonight. Streaming will be ready for Saturday's game and they will begin streaming the weekly Bobcast shows beginning with next week's.

As for the archives, he is going to look into that with sportsjuice.

He spoke with the people at sportsjuice and the dropped all of the archives from last year to make room for this year's archived streams.

I have to give Pete Hanson some credit here. He is on top of it over there and does an excellent job getting the Bobcat games on the radio and on the internet. I remember last year when the feed wasn't working for the game I sent him an email and he responded right away. I know it can be frustrating if/when the feed isn't working, but I know that Pete is always doing everything in his power to make things work!! Nice job by Pete and his team!
