I couldn't feel better about todays game. First game of the season and we did damned well. Proud to be a Bobcat!

Our WRs - stepped UP. Miller had a few drops, but for the most part, especially Guinn, I am extremely happy how well we threw the ball WITHOUT Gatewood!

It will be interesting to see if we jump a couple spots in the polls after this game. I would offer the opinion that a 5-point loss to a Big XII school is much more impressive than whooping up on a cupcake, but we'll see if others feel the same way.

I would think the GRIZ would stay at #3 this week while MSU jumps up to #13-15 spots I bet.

That wasn't a shot at the griz, BTW. I meant anyone in the #10-20 range who didn't play well against a patsy. The griz did exactly what they should have today, and they will stay where they are in the polls, unless maybe Furman drops due to their so-so game.
In other I-AA games, I was disappointed to see Georgia Southern eke out a win. I don't think we have ever played them, but for some reason I just don't like those guys!

The bad: What's with the 3 fumbled snaps? We've got to get that cleaned up. Remember our first play from center last season?
A procedure penalty and illegal participation penalty on our first drive! I was wondering if we had ever practiced.
Fake punt on our own 14-I guess we needed to take some risks-but geez Kramer!
We gave up touchdowns on their opening possessions of each half-what's up with that?
How would we have done with Gatewood-OK State could've been in some serious trouble-we missed his explosiveness.
Fumble on their 20 when we're driving...OUCH! woulda-coulda-shoulda!
One of these years we're going to win one of these (against a 1-A team).
The good: I couldn't be more proud. How tight was the collective spinchter of Stillwater in the 4th quarter? Lucky for them the Sooners lost or they'd be gettin' an ear-full!
We made a field goal!
Defensive stop on our 2! That's huge.
The defense bounced back after giving up a TD to start each half.
Bass sounds like he could really make a difference.
Murray and Miller sounded solid.
Guinn caught everything.
We threw to the tightend! Love it.
Plenty to build on here-bring on SFA!

Had to listen to Coach Kramer post game- what a guy!
We made a few mistakes, but we're gonna kick butt this year.

Good showing Cats. If you're WR's could catch the first half I think you would have won. Sounded like Lulay was on the money the entire game. Sounded like the D is much improved. Should be an interesting year.

Nice work cats. You've looked like a solid team on paper, but i wasn't sure you could actually start to live up to it, even without Gatewood. I don't see a lot of details, who stood out the most, not counting Lulay?

Just from what I heard on the radio, JD's blocking, Bass' elusiveness, Saucedo's size, and Guinn's clutch-ness were the big things to stand out. That and the defense that held a D-1A team to 15 points including 2 takeaways and one monstrous goal line stand.
The center-quarterback exchange seems to be the one major thing to work on. I don't fault DeCock too much for his false starts. I can't even imagine how loud it was on the field. Way to go guys!

Congrats to the Cats (especially the Defense)!!! I'm generally not a fan of the 3-4 defense, but I'll learn to love it if the Cats continue to play that well in it for the rest of the season.

Thank you, Cats, for making the BSC, and I-AA look better than ANYONE else did today!
You guys sacked up, played Montana Football...big props to you!
Anyone in the BSC, or the rest of I-AA that doesn't believe you are for real, IMHO, is FOS...nice job guys!

El Gato, I"m with you. I enjoy conversation with Griz fans when it's done in a non-insulting manner. Barebac's antics during the game were uncalled for; he should be ashamed of himself.
Thanks to the other Griz fans for your thoughts and one thing is for certain; this will definitely be an interesting year.
