Who's camping at the Football Camps

I noticed yesterday A whole boat load of high school football players on the UM campus. Which brought to mind a post I read a couple months back about some high school teams who have attended Griz camps leaving the dark side for Kramers camps this year.
Does anyone know what highschool teams will be attending the MSU team camps?

I am pretty sure that Helena Captial is there this year. It's good to see my old school starting to get some kids playing at MSU finally! Beniger, Rucker and Daly are good starts. Hopefully more will follow in the near future.

GO CATS!!

mslacat,

I know that CMR and Capital are both there, but didn't recognize any other large groups of players wearing the same jerseys. I wonder how well these guys get along during this week?

there's also a group from Palmer Alaska at camp...I believe that is the hometown of former griz RB Yohansee Humphrey (sp). I'm not sure of the quality of football that's played in "The Last Frontier", but it could be a good recruiting ground for us.

I graduated from Capital High School in 2002 and they are there EVERY year. Helena High School is also going this year. It costs $225 this year which is probably a rip off considering the corrupt UM athletics department (burned!).

Easy does it, please put your mouth guard back in before you bite off your tongue. Take a couple of deep, deep breaths.
Good now get off to your special ed class.

Oh yea, and don't expect Capital High School to completely dominate Class AA football this year for one reason alone. Mark Samson, former head coach of the Bruins, took the head coach position for the Havre Northen Lights. He also took his boy Kyle Samson up there with him (guess you griz can't run the option anymore :P ).

Hadn't really expected them to seeing as how they play Class AA football.

Welcome to the boards Bobcatscratchfever, I hope you enjoy it. One request, as much as we may dislike the Griz, let's try to keep the smack talk on the smack board. Thanks.

I've got all the smack outta me for a while, thanks for the welcoming kmax.

Typo got me up there but it's taken care of.

Yep, good old Samson is moving up the coaching ladder. Anybody could say he deserves a better school (not that there is anything wrong with Havre) but its hard to take big steps these days. Especially for coaching positions. There are 12 former Capital High School students that are heading up to Havre just to be coached by Samson. They know a good thing when they see it.

I've learned plenty of things working for

1. in the world there are many folks who complain because their yard doesn't look good with the new road that was just put down in front of their house.

and 2. you're the one paying for the new road that you wanted there so you wouldn't have to drive over that 10 inch curb to get to your driveway that doesn't look good because it's a different color than the road.

oh ya, and you pay me too :P

but this isn't the smack board

BAC, Could you explain this one to me? Sometimes it takes a Cat fan to understand a Cat fan.

There should be some sort of mandatory class before posting on these boards.

Okay, here it is:
I've learned a lot from working in this world:
1. Many people complain because the new road they paid for doesn't look good in front of their house, and
2. You wanted the road to eliminate the 10 inch curb to get to your driveway now made ugly because it isn't the same color as the road.
