After 6 weeks that's like almost making the playoffs just like last year after NAU week.

Yea I couldn't quite follow his sentence... I think he was trying to say we thought playoffs were imminent after beating NAU last year. Which really has nothing to do with my post, but whatever.

I have a little trouble with Weber being below Sac State - I hope that our guys don't take them that lightly this weekend

=; I'm done. We'll see what this weekend brings. Go Griz.

Celtic Cat show me one cat fan that didn't think the playoffs were in the bag after the NAU game last year. I get the same feel from you guys this week posting the expected standings after this weeks games.

So everytime a Cat fan posts the standings, he is bragging? Maybe you are taking it out of context because I think the Cats will be ahead of the Griz after this week? Relax a bit.

I didn't make a single prediction about the rest of the season. I predict one week at a time, indicated by the title of the thread.

I don't know that any Cat fans knew playoffs were "in the bag" after NAU. A lot of us liked our chances, and I don't think many of us thought we would lose to Sac State, but most of us knew that EWU and UM were definitely loseable games and losing both would mean no playoffs regardless of how we did as Sac. State.

Good post catatac. I have been around this team too long to assume they are in with 3 games left to go, unless they are undefeated. Game-by-game is the only way to go. Anything else just gets your hopes up. Don't get me wrong, I love the cats. I have just been let down too many times by too many bobcat sports teams to get too confident.

We have 5 games to go- just heve to play every game. I think we're holding a few cards up our sleeves. Have a feeling that noone has seen the 'Cats yet this year.

The cats are not looking past Weber State, they are looking at them as a very serious threat. They don't believe that the supposed lack of talent weber has played means anything, and it has been mentioned in the locker room that big sky home teams are 7-0 this season at home in conference play.

The reason they would be below SSU would be because we beat them. Sac plays D-II Azuza pacific and SHOULD win, giving them only one conf. loss to date. That is the only reason WSU would be below SSU. WSU is a much better team than SSU IMO. Or, as I should have said, that is what will happen if CC's predictions come true. Sorry for the rambling, can't think of a better way to put this... :?
