Great Picture of "The Kick II"

Post by kmax » Sun Oct 09, 2005 12:45 pm

A picture that Jens Jensen sent me. He said he will be sending more pictures later on that I will put up in a normal album, but this is a great picture and I wanted to get it up. Thanks to Jens for the picture.

I guess the nice thing about that picture is there's no other players in the way of that kick. Good job of blocking by the Bobcats allow a very low trajectory (sp?) kick to over the line of scrimmage! Also a good snap and hold had to come into play as well.

Sweet pic. Is there one about a second later too?

I don't know, I will see when Jens sends the rest of his pictures on to me.

Did he nearly fall on his azz after the kick? His position in the picture looks like he might have came close.

Nonetheless, great kick. Too bad the prior 59 minutes 55 seconds took about 10 years off the lives of every Cat fan watching or listening.

Hastings has definitely been our most consistent performer this season.

What is great is all the players on the side-lines kneeing down, holding each other's hands as a team. Everyone was part of that kick. It's more of a team picture than one player making a kick.

My 11 year old son made me kneel and hold hands with him in front of our tv.

We got a satellite dish just in time to see the game!

I wonder if Epi King and #24 will have to do some extra pushups at the next practice....

GREAT pic...fortunately, Weber called all those timeouts so he had time to get it all set up!
