I met the newest Bobcat today. He is a runningback from Cali. His dad said he was going to go to UCLA but something happened and he decided to sign with us. He was very solid, more so than milton. Maybe not as tall though. I quess he was very good in highschool. I talked to him for a while and he didn't know much about the team except he was going to start practice tomarrow. It was fun to fill him and his dad in on the Cats recent success and the strenghs of the team. Real nice kid. I don't remember his first name but his last was Gavin.

I just did some checking around online, and it looks like this dude might be Charles Gavin, a fullback/DE from Vista High School near San Diego. It sounds like he may have only played one or two games is senior year before he went out with a knee injury. He was listed at 5'9 190, but I'm sure is much heavier now. I couldn't really find anything else on Mr. Gavin (nothing about signing at UCLA...he was probably just going to walk on), I don't think we need to get real excited about this guy.

The new running back's name is Evan Gross. I don't know a thing about him except that he's from San Diego, and that he will probably be redshirted this year.

I'm assuming that he is taking Terrance King's schollie.

The new guy's name is actually Evin Groves. I did a search on him and it looks like he did some real nice thing on the football field down in san diego. He was listed at 5-10 180.

Why are the Cats so deep in RB's and Wr's when the OL still needs shoring up?

If you do not know where you are going any road will get you there.

They are gonna give them a year or two to bulk them up so they can play OL :)
