Okay folks, the initial signing period is almost upon us. The Cats currently have 16ish known commits. I'm not sure if all of the players are still fully committed. Yes, I'm talking about you, Mikey. Anyway, will there be any surprise signees or late losses? Time will tell. I think the Cats stand a great chance at signing Samora Ezekiel and Rohan Jones as transfers. We still have a long way to go on the transfer front after Wednesday and the February signing day for high school kids, but it will still be fun to see what the Cat leadership come up with this week.

There will be a QBC meeting Wednesday evening at 6:15 local time with Vigen to discuss the commits and other issues. I'm sure there will be some press announcement from the Cats earlier that day as well. Watch your favorite news source for that information.

I'll be up early on Wednesday to post on this thread as the commitments come in.

Countdown is on.

The fact that none of our commits have their paperwork in yet worries me. How in the world will they be in the weight room by 4am?

I got up at 6:15. They are a few minutes early this year. Not sure I'd call myself an arm chair coach.

No surprises, so far.

Yeah, got the East Coast commit and three Texas commits, so the early birds are done. Hoping for that big Texas lineman transfer.

I thought that Maine transfer tight end was slightly smaller than 6-3. That's good news. I didn't picture the young man as being a bit taller than Snell.

Gonna have to get McMillan a special pass to the dining halls.

I got up at five for a few years and then just sat around refreshing my screen for an hour. Took me a while to smarten up.

Okay, second batch should be coming any second now.........
