To kick butt on the football field and all the time requirements it holds as well as in the class is beyond impressive. He’s a stud!

There were 52 players named to the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) 26th Annual Academic All-Star Team. From those 52, thirteen were named as finalists for two scholarships. Tommy and Brody were among the 52. Brody made the final 13. Tommy, despite a 4.00 GPA did not make the final 13, likely due to missing playing time.

Not a single frizz was among the 52, let alone the final 13.

Congrats, Brody! Very impressive accomplishment.

Also congrats to @nanacat for appropriate titling of the thread and not just using his name on its own!

I looked it up, it's a 9-credit online certificate offered by their Business school. Probably a good idea with all the bourbon and whiskey that gets produced around there!

That's impressive. I couldn't hack it in ME (the calculus and upper level physics were simply beyond my comprehension too) so I switched to MET. 3.94 in ME while playing football is nuts!

Wow. Really impressive.

Just thinking about how this kid was held on pretty much every damn play. What a stud. Should be in the running for the Buck.

Big deal. I was a solid 2.0. Right in the meaty part of the curve. Not showing off, not falling behind.

Anyone know what his 40 is? I think he is big enough for the NFL, especially for teams that have stand-up edge defenders.

and don't knock the moonshining major - here in Nashville and nearby Kentucky plenty of distilleries - and bottles of Pappy burboun are selling for $2000 each!

I still remember my first meeting with my EE advisor Dr. Hanton who told me I need to choose between my football scholarship or EE - because out of 90+ EE students he'd seen over the years on athletic scholarship, only 3 had graduated. Tough. I remember Ron Hansen made it - damn good football player and near top of his class in EE

He was right about me too - I finished an engineering degree, years later after football, at another university - I couldn't hack it

Mucho kudos to Grebe!
