Daniel Hardy

I didn’t see anyone mention it and thought he deserved his own thread, but Daniel got a really good sack yesterday in the Bears/Bengals game. I hope he can make the roster as this years Bears team should be exciting to watch.

He is mentioned in the random stuff thread and there are some links to high lites there too. Hardy probably does deserve his own thread though and Okada too.

Yes, he has had 2 very good games so far this pre season.

It’s crazy to think that Troy, Hardy and Okada (along with several other studs) were all on the same defense. Might have been the best defensive in program history.

Playing some special teams as well, so chance to be on roster with the versatility. Okada not as much as he looks to be 3rd team safety and 2nd on ST. So hopefully practice squad.

Current yearly salary for an NFL practice squad member is likely more than basically all BN regular posters. Not too shabby!

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

This is the first time in probably 35 years that you've been able to say that!

Easy there. 2006 was a pretty good year. Hard to not watch prime Devin Hester.

Hardy has had a great preseason. Consensus of most Bears watchers is that he will make the 53 man-- but if not, he'll be at the top of the practice squad with a very good chance to see game time at some point this season.

Okada likewise has played very well, and seems like a lock for the practice squad at least, with some chance for the active roster-- though he's hurt by a deep Seahawks position group. Could be a situation like last year where he gets "called up" midseason.

McCutcheon has at least seen the field a lot, so I'd say decent chance he winds up on the practice squad.

No real read on Kidd, though he is probably fighting an uphill battle as a late addition to the Niners preseason roster.

I love how he just tosses this RB aside and makes the sack.
