Catsrback76 has drifted quietly into retirement. Who has what it takes to step up and fill these shoes? We got a few easier games coming up before we need to really be sure this important position is locked down so let’s see it BobcatNation.

Requirements:

• Preferably in Pre-GMT time zone for starting threads a day early. Must at least be very early riser. Old Cat fans that get up multiple times at night to take a leak acceptable assuming they understand technology well enough to make a post.
• solid eloquence and understanding of Cats and our opponents to give rousing kickoff post
• ability to understand your creation WILL take an ugly turn somewhere around the first play of the game and be willing to live with the Frankenstein mess of a thread your creation will become

Dang. I got excited because I get up early and often but when you put the word "eloquence" as a requirement I done did get disqualified.

By the way, is this an official position or an unofficial position?

If only BN had a member that’s also a sports writer and Bobcat fan. That would be an awesome get for the gameday thread. We might have to pay that person to do it though. I’ll chip in.

Let’s just say if I could channel that level of luck again, there’d be a massive Powerball win on my horizon and we’d all be watching Bobcat football in Tdub Stadium, which would have handrails on the east side for some real uptown living.

I have a lengthy post all ready to go at precisely 12:01 AM. Time to brew a pot of coffee and break out the good bourbon.

We should take turns this season and pick who we want to do it next season.
