New Scoreboard and Sound System
Took some time to get used to the new scoreboard but I like the size.
Sound system very loud and very clear. The blaring rap "music" prior to the game was more than my ears could take though.
I can't imagine that this is what the majority of Cat fans want to hear, especially since it's so loud you can talk to the guy next to you.

Hate to break it to you but pregame music is for players and they do not care one bit about what fans like during that time.aucat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:33 pmTook some time to get used to the new scoreboard but I like the size.

Would be hilarious to play something like Kenny G just to see how people would react…but 100% for the players and not the fans.Catgrad16 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 11:54 pmHate to break it to you but pregame music is for players and they do not care one bit about what fans like during that time.aucat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:33 pmTook some time to get used to the new scoreboard but I like the size.

Re: New Scoreboard and Sound System
So glad we got a new scoreboard so we could watch the game on the same size screen and just have more advertising....
I would be in favor of maybe only having stats for the team on offense on one side and then having down and distance on the other side of the picture. Down and distance are pretty small most of the people I talked to thought.

The pole blocks our score. And yes the advertising takes up half the screen. Kinda annoying.

Yeah, that’s pretty much a given and it also for the student section too, which was full almost an hour before kickoff.Catgrad16 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 11:54 pmHate to break it to you but pregame music is for players and they do not care one bit about what fans like during that time.aucat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:33 pmTook some time to get used to the new scoreboard but I like the size.

Loved the scoreboard and the sound. The only thing I can think of to improve the experience is to put up the name and number of the player making a big play in some sort of video cut with the player in uniform on the screen without their helmet.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

Was the south end zone scoreboard completely out or was it just the play clock ?

Quit your whining about the size of the screen, music, ads…etc. everything was amazing. The program and facilities are moving forward and it’s beautiful.

My standard response to people that complain about too much advertising is to ask them how they'd like paying even more for tickets, parking, concessions, etc. to help cover for the decreased ad revenue. They generally don't have an answer to that one.

The entire screen was utilized several times. It didnt stay locked into the advertising set up the entire time.

Re: New Scoreboard and Sound System
The bobcat head on top of the scoreboard doesn’t light up and there are way too many paid sponsorships diluting the screen. The asphalt added a lot of heat to the tailgating experience. The “BOBCATS” inlay is already cracking. The south scoreboard didn’t work. The 18-23 year olds on my favorite team gave up too many points and didn’t score enough in the second half to make me happy. They ran out of turkey legs. And when the heck are we replacing the east side and bowling in the NEZ.

Hi Strawman. How are you?
I'm not complaining about advertising so youre debating something not brought up. I'm making a comment about the usage of the screen size. Advertise all you want. Play ads. But I can suggest we do it different.

Was my post made in response to you specifically? No.lutecat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 10:10 amHi Strawman. How are you?

Same complainers as always. For some people, you give them a million dollars, and they complain it is not two million.

The full screen was utilized multiple times but was it ever for game action? I wonder if the screen is too wide for that so they just use the middle section for replays. I don't doubt they'd use the full screen for big plays like touchdowns if they had the ability. It's also just the first game.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Definately. I'm offering my thoughts but I have no doubt we'll get better. Our music used to such 15 or so years ago. We do a great job now.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 10:24 amThe full screen was utilized multiple times but was it ever for game action?
